Hi all

GT3 having paint at moment and want to protect the front and keep off the stone chips.

Anyone recommend a film type and place to apply this? Preferably south east.

Have heard of 3M, stoneguard and paintshield as clear film types.

Thanks, DC

I'm also in the same position.

Based in the South East.

I've had some quotes from Paintshield and am waiting for other quotes

Hi, I had the professional top of the range paint protection from Gtechniq applied to my 997 - their platinum products which only a gtechniq certified detailer can apply. It's superb for protecting the paint against dirt, UV etc & has amazing beading properties. it also protects the interior & glass. Don't want to teach anyone to suck eggs etc if you are not familiar with gtechniq - its probably one of if not 'the' best new breed of synthetic chemical bonding products. However, I'am not sure about its protection properties against stone chips.

Hi

I had my 991 GTS done by Paintshield. (1/2 a car) It's a great product and definitely makes a difference. I can't talk about longevity as I've had it since March. It certainly takes wax well, and is all but invisible.
