Could you modify a pair for me? I did send you an email via this website, not sure if you've seen it.

I don't need any work done, but always enjoyed reading your updates on here and the other forum PPB. Inspired me to get a 996.

Have you done anything more to the car?

Inspired by this thread, I've spent the summer working on an upgrade to my C2 to allow bigger front discs to be fitted. I couldn't stomach the cost of commercial big brake kits at £1500+ and I wasn't comfortable with sourcing and machining Cayenne calipers, so I designed a solution that uses a rear disc from a Panamera on the front of my 996 C2. The stock discs are 318mm and I've put 330mm on my car and done a 350mm set for a friend.

I had five sets machined up while I was at it, two are now gone, one more may already be spoken for, leaving two remaining. If you're interested then please PM me. The kit bolts straight on to any non-'S'/GT/Turbo Porsche from the 986/996/Cayman/Boxster/911 range from 1996 up to the end of the 997. Fills out an 18 or 19" wheel nicely.

Nice. I also came up with a plan for my front brakes. Lamborghini/Audi R8 8 pot front calipers with 380mm 991 GT3 Cup discs.
