Car becoming very unstable when accelerating???

Hi Dom
it was Chris @ CG that did all the work on the car - and yes you are right, it was very track focused!
the top mounts were swapped round to increase neg camber;
Try JZM - very good - and although being near Watford it may be easier to get to them;
If it's feeling loose at the rear, my guess would be the bushes
(I'm back in a GT3 now - 991 CS)
Good to hear from you David, I thought you might of swapped the top mounts lol I forgot about JZM, I've used them before so will get it up to them after we swapped the top mounts back!it was Chris @ CG that did all the work on the car - and yes you are right, it was very track focused!

Glad you're back in a GT3, a 991 very nice show a picture please
Tyres are the first thing to look at. I have the exact same issue on mine at the mo. Rear nearside is a Cup 2, rear offside is Yoko AD08. Don't ask. Suffice to say in today's downpour, I have been driving like a learner.
The upside is I have learnt Cup 2s are more grippy in the wet (which surprised me).

+1 on the tyre opinions; generally a sidewall flex issue occurs meaning the rolling radius changes pushing the car left/right as your accelerate and decelerate. A quick test - run it noting the symptoms then swap the rear wheels over (it'll be fine just for a test).
The camber set up can be reversed; the mounts are turn 180 degrees and the studs need to be pressed out of the three holes they are in and swapped to the other three.

a friend has a 997.2 Turbo S which exhibited a strong pull to the left as soon as the turbo kicked in. Swapped the rear tyres from left to right, and suddenly the car pulled to the right under boost. It seems that while getting a full set of tyres fitted to his car recently, the "new" rear tyre dates (left to right) were different by more than 4 months. This led to a confirmed hardness difference (verified by rubber hardness gauge) between the two tyres.
