I really would like to improve the interior trim in my 997 GEN 2 Turbo S , I have been looking at the carbon upgrades and theses are going to cost me the best part of £2k to do it all. (A bit excessive) then I thought anyone had the trim sprayed, I had a previous 911 that was painted at the factory in places with the body colour of white which looked really cool or I have just read that a Carbon wrap could be done, anyone had this done and if so where please?

How about Hydro dipping/coating? Something from companies like this one:

There's a chap who is doing a real carbon service that might be of interest, search for CR Carbon on Facebook, no affiliation but I might get a few bits done by him.

Hi,
see www.designls.co.uk , my e46 steering wheel trim in carbon came from there, my mates old e46 m3 carbon trim came from there, and just seen some pictures of bentley supersport pictures of full carbon trim - awesome and no comparison to wrap or dip, sorry smile

I've also got a gen 2 turbo however mine has all the factory fitted carbon fibre interior trims including the door sills, more than happy to email you some photos.

Like yourself I was unsure of whether to get a carbon wrap, hydro dipping or pay the extra fir rear carbon fibre interior trims for my BMW M3. Decided to pay the extra for real carbon trim and have been extremely happy with the results. They make hydro dipping and carbon wrap look cheap and fake. However it down to person choice.

Personally there is no way that I would carbon wrap or hydro dip interior parts on an £80k gen2 turbo, it will look so wrong. However your choice. After spending £80k on a car, £2k for real carbon is small change, you won't regret it.

Going to visit these guys shortly as they are only up the road from me and have heard some great reviews about them especially for leather and alcantara work on Porsches.

Wrapping interiors should be left to Corsas and Astras.

Carbon or paint.
