Lovely small changes Chris, love the front aero kit and wheels. Can you show a pic of the new grills installed as not quite sure what you mean! I see you're promoting your company in the background I really think white and grey look the best with the GTS (although I love blue) you must be happy with the new car!
Thanks Matt. Really like the front aero front splitter result especially in matt black (matches the side skirts) as it gives it an almost GT3 look.
Will take a picture of the Zunsport front grills once re-fitted. They're black in colour and again give it a GT3 (997.2) look as they had grills OE.
I loved the GTS when I bought it but living with it I had a few niggles which I have now sorted so it's now my perfect 911. Back to going out for a drive with no destination just for the hell of it!

One day Ill get a car that gives me that feeling - I foolishly bought a Derv (diesel) and we don't get on well, and as I am young and a little strapped for cash it'll be a while before I change. The drives with no defined beginning or end, with no destination I find are the best drives, usually on your own to clear your head or just drive. Its what I like to call Automotive Nirvana, and one of the best feelings (get a similar feeling skiing I find).
All the little tweaks add up, front aero kit makes a subtle difference, is there any great loss in ride comfort or road noise or vibration from your alterations?

Here are some pictures of my GTS now it's fitted with its new wheels!
Mods so far include the following:
Sharkwerks exhaust bypass
Genuine front Aero kit splitter painted satin black to match side skirts etc
H&R lowering springs
Zunsport grill kit (not fitted in photo) to protect rads etc
997 GT3 front and 997 GT3 RS rear wheels
Michelin Pilot Sport Cup 2 tyres

Wheels look great and fill the arches (especially the rear) like they should! Most of my mods have been to make the car as it should have been (in my opinion) with the Sharkwerks making it sound proper, the springs making it look the right height and the wheels to fill the arches! The grills to protect the rads etc (like OE on the 997.2 GT3, RS 4.0 and 991 GT3) and the front splitter - well selfishly I like the Aero kit front one but dislike the rear!
Hi Chris
Car looks great on those wheels. Stunning. Love they way they fill the arches and the colour of them. I'm sure in the flesh they look even better than the pictures.
Looking forward already to seeing your next mod.

Interesting to see the GTS comments as I only just bought my GTS last week from OPC. I went to see the advert car above and its in great condition and good value I think. I previously drove a c4gts which my local opc sold for 65k ish and it had pdk which I liked but i decided I would stick with manual. I would have bought the advertised car but it just didnt drive how I wanted not sure why but it felt heavy to drive so maybe all the options was part of the problem I dont know but I walked away plus standing there since april is maybe part of the problems and roads where its located are really rough .
I was going to forget it but then drove a GTS c2 manual at an OPC up at 60k with 17k miles. What a revelation it had what I was looking for in feel from gearchange to steering feel it just felt lighter and more responsive a real less is more but I come from lotus ownership. Anyway they wouldnt budge on price other than a few hundred but i figured when will the next manual come along. So I paid over the odds I know but it shows some buyers roll over !
With regard to manual i was concerned about resale so i tested with 911v who said manuals are good news and they put them a whisker ahead of pdk these days, imo the manual will move ahead with time as the pdk continues to develop. We will see.
Congrats on your purchase and remember the obligatory pics please and your spec.I was going to forget it but then drove a GTS c2 manual at an OPC up at 60k with 17k miles. I love my GTS and dont think you overpaid - 2wd manual is THE car. I think you know the right car when you see it and everything else just has to be done. You also have 2 yrs OPC warranty which is worth a couple of grand on its own. Which OPC did you buy from as I haven't seen any manuals for sale when I've been trawling. Enjoy your car and get plenty of driving in over the bank holiday.

Which is good news really, because buyers can just get on and enjoy their purchases, rather than fretting about whether they paid too much.

You know Chris, I've not once seen your car parked outside ABP, saw the 1M all the time...I must look more often, would be great to have a look around it.

Cheers, Chris

Looks very nice. Got mine from Swindon as well. They seem to have a steady flow of GTS in manual & I found them good to deal with. I had two to choose from when I bought mine & I have seen others there inc. a 991GTS demo with buckets in manual - a rare beast indeed and hats off to them for putting that spec on their fleet.Best photos i have at the moment

Chris, that is the prefect GTS imho.
If you ever decide to sell, please email me.
Thanks for that - nice to know that the mods I've carried out are also liked by others! If you ever decide to sell, please email me.
So that's you added to the list of potential next owners! 911 Virgin would like to buy it back as would the 1st owner who spec'ed it so well and has asked me to let him know if I ever consider selling. As it is now (perfect) I can't imagine that happening anytime soon...
