Hey

What are your thoughts on this OPC car?

Spec seems a little spartan compared to some. But very low mileage..

Price??

Cheers
Jack

My thoughts

It's an Automatic with NO leather dash.

Even if you wanted PDK, I would have to have the full GTS interior, which is full half leather and Alcantara inside.

Quite a nice spec and colour, but agree, it would be more desirable with the 6-spd manual, IMO.

Quite surprised at the anti PDK comments. I thought the majority preferred it? Cos its faster and everything?

To me;

Positives;

- right colour (or one of the better ones)
- right alloys
- right interior (ie alcantara)
- right gearbox

Negatives;

- No leather dash (although this can be retro fit relatively cheaply)
- No BOSE

Seems a decent price for such a low mileage (6k) on a 11 plate. 911virgin have a nice black one for sale at the same price, but with 31k on the clock.

If it was a 4GTS I may be interested myself.

Thanks for those comments.

Re the pdk, I had a manual 997.2 Targa before with the upgraded adjustable seats and having to change the gears in that left me with a numb left leg and discomfort so I don't really mind the pdk, although I would prefer manual (without the leg issues!).

Re installing the leather dash, that would need a dash from a doner car? what sort of cost are we talking?
Leather dash was on the wish list but low mileage is attractive on this one too. Dilemma....

Leather dash?

For some on here, its important. For me, no! Leather does not belong in a sports car as far as I am concerned.

No more than wood.

Plastic looks rank in expensive cars.

Think it is around £1500 retrofitted (brand new).

any trimmer could sort you a leather dash, but whilst it might be nice to have, i's not sure id spend my money on one. with that car the mileage, colour and price are more important ?

My GTS doesnt have the leather dash, and at no point in my ownership have I ever got in the car and thought "damn I wish I had a leather dash". I also think there are cheaper GTSs out there, with higher mileage. For an extra 20,000 miles you can save 10 grand, and the car is still practically new. (Just my two cents).

Leather dash is nice but wasn't a show stopper for me. Once I got the car I didn't ever think about it again. For me that mileage and price makes this a great buy, with only downside being PDK

+1 for the non leather dash. Was on my option list but the only thing missing so had to make the sacrifice. Can't say I'm too concerned and if any help, mine has standard stereo which to me, is more than sufficient.

997 GTS remains a hot seller and things like spec and price don't seem to hold them back. This car was unusual in having the sports chassis.

Mine is going to be a hard one value when I come to sell.

2wd, Manual, Sports chassis, full leather with alcantara, BOSE, adaptive seats, etc etc etc. massive spec.

But also high miles. I'm at 57k already!
