Hello

I've seen a nicely specced 991
And I'm wondering if it was press car.

Doing some very simple checks online I have found out that the previous plate was PO62 CHE.
And the original plate was RA62 DYU

Does it ring any bells for anyone

Cheers for your help.

PO62 CHE sounds a bit tacky to be a press plate to be honest, although RA is a Reading number so could possibly have been registered by Porsche GB as press. More likely to be an ex OPC Reading demo car if we'll specced. Either way if you're worried get it checked out and then enjoy the options someone else has paid for!! driving

Cheers. I'm going to have it checked at Porsche too but I think is still like to know if it was a press car or not. Or maybe somebody knows the plates.

Not sure tbh- haven't seen any recent posts from him. The red car looked fab though!

Good luck with your upcoming purchase, whether or not it's this one. thumbup

On an old boxster 550 spider i purchased it had a special option code on the sticker under the hood that suggested press or show car?

Not sure Porsche still do this on the newer cars though?

Yes it's my old car. It was bought from Tonbridge September 2012 and was on the Porsche plate when I got it. I took it off the plate in March and the RA62 plate is what dvla gave me so it's a coincidence if it's a reading plate. It went back to Tonbridge around July 2014

Hello, thanks for coming back. Cracking spec by the way. Like any used car buyer im trying to work out if it has had a hard life so far and with the cost of ceramics to think about it matters a little more. Please feel free to be as honest as you like as Im not done on the car just yet. If you prefer to PM then pls do. Appreciate it a lot! thank you
