997 mats help please

I have had a 997 for several years now and I thought it was time for a set of new mats. The originals wore very well indeed, had a deep pile and were very good quality. The new set that I have just purchased from Porsche are by comparison, thin and of poor quality. Is this normal? Or is it possible to get a set the same as the ones which were suppplied from new?

Buy a Boxster set, the rears never wear out . Cheaper.
