This - they did my Impreza calipers with stainless inserts years ago, and look just as good now.aceparts said:
Check price of new from Porsche. Probably not as expensive as you might think. My 993 Big reds were refurbed at a cost of around £800 by the time they had seals and bits. New calipers were £1250+vat for all four! Sold old ones for £700.
The 6 pot front calipers have been subject to a massive price increase in the last couple of years, they alone are £800 each now, but if you can get me a complete set of new OE front and rear calipers for £1250 + vat, I'll take five sets please.As for refurbed calipers not standing up to proper use and looking decidedly secondhand after 12 months, that would depend on who refurbished them......

Not cheap, but with the front calipers alone costing £800 each new, there's now plenty of headroom left for the cost of a decent refurb.

+1 for these guys. I had my Cayenne done by them. Also had the colour changed while there too. Top guys. Check out their FB page or the Cayenne thread to see the results of mine.As for refurbed calipers not standing up to proper use and looking decidedly secondhand after 12 months, that would depend on who refurbished them......

Thanks for the posts;
Got a quote from both companies mentioned, prices within 15% of each other, one of the companies quote stated that the calipers were all 4 pots, on that basis I will go with the other guy who didnt need me to correct him. Will post pics (before and after) when I get the buggers off.
