The only thing you'll miss is the braking power(dons flamesuit regarding brake feel and over-servoed systems).
Haha I know exactly what you're talking about. My Dad had a 330Ci and the brakes were that bit stronger on initial bite than my e36 328. I still drive round in an e36 323 as a daily driver and the 996.2 Carrera 4 definitely requires more effort. I had a Westfield prior to the 911 and is probably crap myself if I drove that again now. With zero assistance that really did feel like it had no brakes until you recalibrated yourself.jimmy p said:
I agree, owned quite a few Porsches, 911's and Boxsters including Boxster Spyder. Just bought a 996.1 C2 with aerokit in extremely rare glacier white. I think it looks stunning and even has the smell of my 993. It's like a modern(ish) old Porsche. Really happy with it!!!
I went from a Boxster spyder to a 996.1 C4 with aerokit and m030. No regrets. jimmy p said:

So it was you!I saw the advert on Saturday morning, called and arranged a viewing for Monday morning. Then the seller contacted me on Sunday afternoon informing me that the car had been sold.
Your car looks great from the advert, congrats!
Anyway I have just paid a deposit on a silver 996 C2 3.4 with aerokit. My first Porsche.
