Hi Guys,

I own a Z4 Alpina, and have decided to sell and buy a 911 c2s from my brother...

At first i found it difficult, as i really like the Alpina...but have now decided to part with it for the C2. its ust so much of a better car in every way!

He bought the car near 8 months back, and ended up spending little over £6k, new gearbox, water pump, tires, brakes, wishbones, anti roll bar link etc..its a big list..

Car has 73k odd on the clock - with full service history

Car is fully loaded, with all the extra's inc, bose, sat nav, memory seats, the Cronos pack etc, sport and suspension button - Simply awesome..

Car was not sold with issues, these came apparent few weeks after purchase - the dealer sorted out some of the issues.

I noticed there is allot on the internet about 997 engine failures etc...not sure if i should let this worry me too much, as the car is fine, and for the little i am going to drive it the chances of engine failure are very slim..i mean there are allot of 997's out there..are all there engines going to fail?

The car it self drives spot on, and i think i will maybe cover the odd 4000 miles in it over the year.

I was looking into 3rd party warranty, however never have purchased warranty before and thinking there will be allot of get out clauses when and if things do go wrong - so any thoughts on this? also what is a reasonable amount to pay for warranty cover?

would it be sensible for me to purchase warranty cover?

any other info comments?

Some pictures...

Yes, get a warranty but also look at the opc extended warranty rather than just 3rd party ones.
