so much nicer with those alloys, the cross spoke jobbies look ok but not in black on a light car IMHO

I am gay and the different shade of red for the roof and the callipers would do my head in.

Loved it, it was my wife's car and she thought the suspension was a little hard for everyday use, so a new turbo S cab arrives in October.

Mine was always the plan to go late Sept after doing the NC500 so my ad is really just to get the news out there early . I was prompted when I saw another older, higher mile Targa GTS in a standard colour go up earlier in the week for £115k. I'm expecting my next car to (hopefully) be 991.2 GT3, but I'm keen to squeeze an older or new Spyder in before winter sets in , but its no worry if I don't.

I've also done a 1000m in the Targa in 2 weeks ! , if I keep going at this rate it will have 5000mile on by the time I've done the NC500. I was aiming to try and keep it below 3000m but I cant stop driving the bloody thing.

Please don't put your GTS up as that's another car I couldn't resist having a go at , I haven't had a minty yet ...........

I've been using mine sparingly (still sub 400 miles), as it was going to be a keeper given the spec and colour - and I have a 981 Spyder to split it with.

BUT...I really fancy an RS. What I will miss is the colour. I'm totally converted to Mint Green and impossible to replace.

Yep , tell me about it . When the itch is there it needs to be scratched .....

There's so many of the cars I had in the last few years I'd loved to have kept, ( My Guards Red 996 GT3 Clubsport , the only Viper Green Cayman R made , this Mexico Targa , all irreplaceable ) but my view in recent years has been get them , enjoy them and then move onto the next thing. If I'd held onto the 996 all those years ago id have missed out on a load of great cars (and it would have 200,000 mile on it now)

I'm with you....back in the day I REALLY wanted that Viper Cayman R! PTS makes a huge difference to how special a car feels.

Picked my 991 GTS at the weekend. Black with the ducktail and aero kit. Went in to buy the 997 GTS at my OPC and saw the 991 and was taken over.

Absolutely love it. Can't stop driving it!
