No offence taken, I agree that all photos are misleading and in the flesh it is so much nicer, the interior is a lovely place to be. The sparkle only comes out in the sun and after a detail. It would be dull if we all liked the same thing, I fancied crayon but not sure how strong it is in the flesh. In the end I am thrilled, I did not want to wait for PTS and did not fancy the other colours that much.
One thing is definitely right....it is a much, much better colour than Crayon.

It would be dull if we all liked the same thing and I too decided not to wait for PTS and have a Graphite Blue Metallic car arriving Monday!! LOL.

I'm looking forward to seeing the colour and am planning a detail and ceramic coating to make it zing.

I fancied Crayon when I first saw it launched but again have yet to see a car.

I'll let you know my thoughts on the colour on Monday & pleased we are still friends.

So happy with mine. Carmine red. Also went for leather rather than alcantara. It's a brilliant car.

To be honest your thoughts are only echoing my doubts before collection, I think you will be pleasantly surprised. It is a very cool understated colour. I must admit though, I am not a lover of red cars, but Carmine red looks fabulous.

More importantly though the car itself is fantastic! We should have a GTS get together.

Carmine is a fantastic colour....works with the GTS black accents particularly. Needs to be seen to be fully appreciated IMHO.

I'm actually thinking about it for my (hopeful) 2018 GT3 allocation....not a colour many (if any on PH) are going for but have seen a couple of pics of GT3 RS's in it and think it could work really well.

Actually in all the GTS images so far I have not seen a bad looking one. Well done on GT3, I wonder if they do the Violet form the GT3 RS as PTS.

Agreed... the cars on the last few pages all look fabulous... the Carmine one in particular!

Ordered a TTS in Carmine With black gloss Aero kit, sorry it's not a GTS but looking forward to seeing the car as some of the pictures here look awesome.

I respectfully beg to differ. I have a Crayon GTS incoming, and the colour I think provides great contrast with the black components/wheels of the GTS, and looks great with the yellow calipers on the PCCBs. I would never buy a blue or "hint of blue" car, nor indeed silver. Each to their own, and mutual respect.

I would love to see pics of your car, Crayon was PTS when I ordered then it appeared mid build. When will yours arrive? In my mind it was like the 997 Sport Classic.

I agree each to our own, but the important thing is that so far all have looked fabulous!

Yes, I had in mind the Sports Classic and RennSport special edition GTS as references, and so flirted with SC Grey and Fashion Grey before getting hold of a Crayon sample and convincing myself of the absence of brown/yellow tints in various lighting conditions. If you have a Farrow and Ball paint chart handy (as we all do!) then Crayon is as near as doesn't matter the same as F&B "Manor House Grey". I have to declare that my GTS will be a cabriolet and so there's slightly more black to contrast with than on the coupe.

I did much the same as you prior to ordering! Playing around with a Crayon sample tile and scrutinising internet pics of Crayon coloured Panameras, a GT3, and comparing to SC grey, Fashion grey and Grigio Campovolo. I collect my Crayon GTS Coupe next week so will post some pics after that. I'm expecting something that's similar to SC grey in brighter light with slightly browner tints coming through in darker light (but could well be wrong!). So long as it's more grey than beige I'll be happy.

Hurrah! The pro-Crayon resistance movement is finally stirring. Down with "Golf Club" blues and "Uber Taxi" metallic silver! Up with new flat grey-ish colours that its impossible to get good photos of!

I saw a Crayon GTS coupe at OPC Reading this week- looked awesome!!

I have a September build Targa GTS and am still deliberating colours!! I like Crayon on a Coupe (especially with pan roof) but not sure on the Targa, with the silver targa bar...

Am leaning towards Agate, with PCCB's, silver bar, manual box, RWS and a few other extras...

Xbowdan that may have been mine at Reading. Did it have crayon buckets?

The seats were still under plastic, so I couldn't tell!! I've got a picture, but it comes up white, which it was far from white in person!!!

A brave choice, but I think it's paid off in my opinion!! Looks fantastic!!!! I would def go for it on a coupe!!
