Thanks Tuffer, I wonder why there is no ducktail or more noticeable spoiler option. I know cooling is more important with the turbos but they have them on the Turbo and Turbo S so they can make them work.

I like the clean lines without but I think they work better on certain colours.

I liked the look of the sport design spoiler, but at £830 it is a considered option. Looks great when you first get the car but I think after a few days you wouldn't miss it too much.

The thing is, it's not really a spoiler, I see it as more of a lip at the end. You could get the effect by just adding a small carbon fibre lip that you see on many AMG's and M cars.

Spec is locked apparently but that is a good thing or I would be in a pickle and start messing around with it.
Are you able to share or PM the spec?

Obviously so we can tell you what other boxes you should have ticked. ;-D

Lovely spec. All the essentials and a good selection of exclusive options as well.

Tuffer, keep your wheels Black for a few weeks! I was going to change mine to Silver as I didn't like black wheels. I'm now a big fan and they look amazing, and have specced them on the GT3 as well.

I would also add that the Bose system in the .2 is a considerable improvement over the Bose in the .1

I'm getting bored of black wheels too. Silver is back in fashion. Lovely spec tuffer, bright silver wheels will look amazing. I wonder if GT3 wheels would bolt onto a GTS for that R look out of interest?

You could buy them but I bet they are eye wateringly expensive.

They do fit apparently but Porsche won't supply them on the car from new even on CXX options. They won't even paint the GTS wheels silver or the GTS badges on the back of the car!

I suppose you could buy a set of GT3 wheels and use the current ones as a winter wheels.

That's a good enough reason to buy both cars and swap the wheels now and again smile

I've got to is an embarrassing question - is the first reg fee on top of the purchase price (circa £855), I just don't remember paying it when buying g a new car and thought it was part of the purchase price.

Your all going to laugh at my ignorance but I just don't ever remember having had a conversation about it before.

I think you'll find that's £55 first registration fee and £800 VED (road tax). The OPC probably just bunched it all together under 'first reg' heading.

Last week I put a deposit down on a 991.2 GTS and was told VED would be £1275. Ouch!

It all depends on whether you go for a PDK or a manual as the PDK is approx £400 less in first year road tax than manual as it drops just under the 190g/km threshold......either way its on top of the purchase price.

I have just been charged £1200 RFL plus the £55 for a PDK car. Will query that.

Very inciteful Taffy66, so opting for PDK has actually saved me some money! I would never have known that.
