Bit of an old-fashioned colour IMO. Let me know if you change your mind and I'll do you the favour of picking up the order to save your deposit. :-D
Yep. looks awful ;-) Really difficult to find any pictures of a 991 in Oak Green, I saw someone post on here that they have a GTS Targa on order so will be interested to see how that looks.tuffer said:

January build slot for March delivery - long ol wait!
Wow, that's a heck of a wait. I put a deposit down for a C2GTS on 30/06/2017 and was initially told I'd be looking at taking delivery around the end of November. OPC called me 4 days later telling me they'd been allocated an extra build slot, and that if I was able to confirm my specification there and then, I'd be looking to get my car by the end of September. Declined their offer as I wanted to try rear axle steering before adding it to the order, so I missed the slot.I've subsequently tried RAS and it's now been added, so if I get a similar call again, I can give them the green light so hopefully I'll get my car by the end of October.
Fingers crossed!
Mr Tuffer - The picture that started it all for me. Oak Green at it's absolute best. Trouble is now you've 'stolen' my car I'm going to have to choose a new PTS colour for the next wagen!! :-P
I know they are saying no PTS in the GT3 but do you think they'll introduce it with the touring pack option (or am I just being too hopeful)?
And the silver wheels.

I thought Porsche completely refuses to do the turbo s wheels in silver? I know they are saying no PTS in the GT3 but do you think they'll introduce it with the touring pack option (or am I just being too hopeful)?

Wonder if the dealer had to locally have them refinished silver?
Regarding VED you guys are right. The 991.2 rwd GTS (PDK) has CO2 of 188 and should cost £800 to tax in year 1. However the 991.2 4wd GTS (PDK) has CO2 of 192 and should cost £1200 to tax in year 1. Manual is also more expensive. Didn't think rear v 4 wheel drive would be significant.

I have seen that one a few times. looks absolutely stunning and if it comes out like that I will be a happy man. That was apparently sprayed locally by the dealer though and appears to be a lot brighter and shinier than the other cars I have seen. Regarding the wheels, my dealer has said not an issue at all to have them taken off, dipped, sprayed and replaced, cost was very reasonable. Silver is current choice but platinum against the Oak Green also looks amazing.
I think silver would be better in my eyes - will lift the car slightly.Cant wait to see how this one actually turns out...
The steel grey colour looks identical to Agate grey for me! I checked with my dealership and the PDK is cheaper which I wouldn't have known if you hadnt mentioned it. I couldn't decide whether to switch back to a manual as per my current 991.2S but glad I've gone PDK now.
Apart from the colour (God help me on that one), can't decide whether to spec the RWS again. It definatly turns easier when parking or 3 point turning with a really small turning circle but other than that, I'm not convinced I would notice the difference in normal driving. The front axle lifting is about the same price and with all the speed bumps where I live, I think it might be best to spec that option instead,- or neither and save the money as I have not ever driven a car before and though ' I really need RWS or axle lifting.

The Carbon Steel Metallic apparently had the wheels painted under CXX options, but when I enquired they said 'NO'. they came back very quickly with a 'NO' to the badges being painted but it took them a few weeks longer to say "NO' to the wheels. Wonder if the dealer had to locally have them refinished silver?
Maybe it varies country to country or if you are spending big on options as some people in the USA have had some pretty wild specs on 911R etc.
