they kind of go hand in hand, and having both on the Boxster at the moment (red GTS package with Carmine Red paint job, basically the Boxster GTS launch spec) I couldn't not spec them on a GTS personally.

Only thing I could leave off is PDCC, but I've been so impressed with the standard brakes on the Boxster, that I can't imagine you really need ceramics, and its a lot of money to pay to have a different colour, the price is already ridiculous (I could have a GT3 for the same money, if only they would sell me one).
Have they ruled out a GT3 out for you? OPC took two deposits from me in March. One for the GTS and the other for a potential GT3. Still not sure if I'll ever get one and I'm sure the GTS will be awesome.

The awkward laugh said it all......

This is my first purchase from the opc, I have been unimpressed by the one I bought the Boxster from, so I'm trying another one, to build a relationship, and so far so good. I even got a small discount off the car and a car cover thrown in. (Due to me living so far away, and the sales person going on holiday, they wanted my deposit so I asked them to sweeten the deal)

Hmmm, this is something I'm debating over, I thought the red interior bits would work with the red callipers, rear lights and reflectors?

I agree silver looks so good with the viper green
Just noticed that you have the painted vents too I would definitely go silver TBH

This is a link to an interior pic the OPC Silverstone car which has the painted belt inserts in the seat backs next to the silver stitching

For some reason I can't get the image hosting to work properly.

Adaptive cruise. Wouldn't order a car without it now. Its brilliant...especially in heavy traffic. Had it on two turbo Macans and optioned it on our Crayon GTS cab that arrives in 2 weeks.

Lovely spec btw cool
I'm not a fan of adaptive cruise for a drivers car (even though most of my miles are motorway), I had it on a rental in the US and just didn't like it, felt I wasn't concentrating properly and didn't want to rely on it. I only specced normal cruise on this for resale purposes, used it all of twice in the Boxster in 2 years.

Nice to hear the system is good though. Looking forward to seeing your cab soon, the demo I drove was midnight blue I think, really dark, I prefer a bright/light colour on the cab as a contrast to the roof.

So red

Vs silver

I like both, and as I've currently got the red, maybe I should go silver.....

Sorry. It that interior doesn't work for me, especially the red dial but I honestly love the rest. One thing is for sure, you will never have a problem selling it. The interior as it is will definatly split opinion I think.

Having said all that, I'm going Lava Orange so what do I know!!

Does the silver work for you then?
I nearly went lava, I borrowed a 991.1 GTS in lava about a year ago and loved it, but I've always wanted a green car.

Both look fine to me, neither would put me off buying car second hand. Bullet to your head right now which one would you pick? That's the right one.

I've got silver on my miami blue, looks great but red just would not work. Think it does work on the green though....... however yellow or green stitching, with matching dials, that would look the nuts

Silver for me, Red just looks too much of a contrast.

Well I'm not having the extra GTS package with stitching but for me, red and green definatly don't go together whereas silver can go with just about anything. Not knocking your spec though as I think it will look amazing on the road.

You have got me thinking should I just forget the budget and spec away!

I note you can now have Miami blue seat belts on the configurator. Pity you can't have the stitching to match the exterior colour as I think Miami stitching and belts would look great.
I would have orange seat belts if available but alas not yet (probably the day after my build locks!!)

Which OPC did you use for this GTS?

Wolves I assume given the other posts? I've heard of around a grand being offered off them too.

yes it was Wolverhampton, I bought the last one from Solihull and I've been through 3 sales people, and they were always very arduous to deal with, Wolverhampton have been nothing but brilliant though, so time for a change and so far so good smile

I've been to three - Solihull was very good from a purchase POV but aftercare was abysmal.

What gets on my tits is, I my Spec is graphite Blue, with PCCB's all the Isis option boxes ticked, but I've gone for silver GTS interior, which I'm not really happy to do, however as they insist on giving you a Poxy red dial which you can't not have, i have no choice, only way to sort it is to not have the GTS interior pack, go Normal leather, then you can have what dial colour you like! Porsche need to sort their act out, they only 'allow' us to choose what they really want us to choose.

That's good to know, I've been talking to one of the sales staff from Wolverhampton called Tom and he seemed pretty decent and interested in selling me a car compared to Solihull that didn't even approach me to see if I needed any assistance
