Tuffers, they look very good, how do you remove the central blanking pieces?

Rob
The center grill is fixed to the blanking plate by a couple of self tapping screws. At least it hides the sea of black plastic.

Thanks Tuffers, so there is no need to remove it, only the smaller side plates are taken out?

Take nothing out, they just press in.

How do you all decide which car to get. It's so complicated wobble
I want a gts, that's simple. I love the Targa, in blue, with silver roll bar. And apparently OPC still takes order.
But Ideally i would like a 2wd Targa, which isn't there. And i woul like silver turbo wheels, which are not available in the configurator.
So I look at the standard GTS. I love Miami blue, but not sure if it will be an issue or a plus comes resale time.

Likewise, I'd like buckets (coming from a long list of Lotus, pretty much all of them), but I was looking at the GTS more as a GT car, so bucket might be missing the point entirely as sport seats seem to be good.

I tell ya, it's so damn difficult I now understand women and shoes. Damn it.

Agreed, it's all a bit complicated!

I've got a cab coming in January and have to lock down the spec. Has anyone else gone for the Sport-Tex leather interior option? I find the all alcantara option a bit plain and wanted to jazz it up a bit.

Any opinion gratefully received.. http://www.porsche-code.com/PJV91YE3
I was going to go sport Tex on my black Targa. Then I had sight of the sport Tex trim on silver cab....

Not for me on a 130k car..

All Personal TBH... But for me there is far to much going on, sack the carbon steering wheel, then i think it would be okay. I have driven a Sport Tex seat GTS at the PEC and the grip it gave round the course was great, but the look and feel felt very cheap

Agreed, it is so very complicated and the configurator doesn't help one bit, too much choice!!!

I've got my build slot confirmed and I have everything ticked apart from the seats. I really like the idea of sport bucket seats but I need to sit in them before committing and my OPC hasn't got any I can try. I've tried a couple of OPC's I pass when I'm working and they didn't have any buckets either. First world problems indeed.......

Seat choice is very personal,do not let others influence you.I had buckets in the gt4 and they did not suit me and because of that I drove it less than I would have liked.I went for adaptive on the gts and I drive it more than my daily .I have done nearly 3 times the mileage in the gts over the gt4 and a large part of that is that I don't ache when I get out of the car.
I'm also going to go non bucket on the gt3 because I want to drive it,not look at it wishing my back wasn't aching.

Many love the buckets so the best suggestion is an extended test drive if you can.

Also suddenly specking one up. Anyone considered ceramics? Thought would be more for the gts since not likely to be tracked

As Tuffer said I have one - great colour that gets loads of positive comments. Colour does change according to the light and is difficult to photo.

Nice and blue and metallic in the sun and grey on dull days. It’s even on the list of colours for the next car which is unusual for me.

All these pictures were taken on the same day on my iPhone 7 and go some way to show the different colours.

I love the colour and if I specced a car it would be between that and Crayon ...

For me, it would be a no no and I feel it would almost certainly kill its resale value certainly on a GTS. Each to their own though

Love the car, saw the colour on a 4S and was really impressed. Would certainly be on my list second time around.
