The Targa & Cabriolet have a -10mm ride height, the Coupe is -20mm, although the Coupe can be spec’ed at just -10mm if you prefer.

All have active suspension as standard and the PDCC can be spec’ed as a additional cost option.

Correct, but when you spec PDCC on the GTS coupe, the standard -20mm PASM chassis is replaced by the -10mm chassis. I don’t happen to like PDCC, makes the car’s behaviour feel rather synthetic. I love the feel of the GTS C2 coupe on the -20mm chassis. It feels noticeably different, and to me much better than a C2S on std -10mm chassis

Some advice please guys and pretty urgent

I currently have a GT4 which is currently being sold via my OPC in readiness for the arrival of a Carrera T which I have specced and ordered and is due very early April.

I have now however, been offered a 4GTS BRITISH LEGENDS EDITION ‘Derek Bell’

The car lists OTR with the delivery costs at circa £125k but this particular car has additional options over and above which bring it to £134k. The car is in an amazing spec, in my favourite colour [saphire blue] and has the bucket seats too. Dealer tells me there will be only 30 cars in total, 10 blue, 10 white and 10 in red.

Should I consider it seriously??? Will it have desirability and is it a good buy at that price? Car is unregistered

IIRC PDCC can be specified with either -20mm PASM or -10mm PASM on all GTS coupes..The only mandatory requirement is RAS has to be specified as well..The Cabrio and Targa GTS models can only be specified with -10mm PASM irrespective of whether PDCC is fitted or not.
I'm also indifferent to PDCC on the -20mm PASM models however i can see a significant benefit of fitting to the much heavier Targa models with a far higher CoG exasperated with the mandatory -10mm PASM.
PDCC is beneficial on the heaviest and tallest Porsches (Cayenne in particular) but serves no purpose on the lowest and lightest models.

Its no coincidence that the Motorsport Dept have not fitted PDCC on any of their GT Porsches even the record Ring breaking GT2 RS..

I was wondering how these are going to hold their value too.

Wolverhampton have a Richard attwood one, again lovely spec, especially some of the unique parts, just a shame it’s a 4wd, and coupe, as I really like it, but have a rwd Cab coming.

Its definitely going to be a rare car!

I’m not sure the 30 cars total is right...I am sure I have heard a higher number.

If you really want all the options go for it but £125k gets you a massive spec “Normal” GTS

Thanks, makes more sense now. I'll need to test-drive to see whether -20mm or -10mm is the way forward, especially for general driving on the roads. I drove the new GT3 RS at PEC last year. No idea what set up that has but it was kind of irrelevant as i was too concerned about losing all my body fluids instead of analysing the "ride comfort"

Now here’s a name I recognise from the cayman gts thread (I too am moving to a gts from a 981 Boxster gts), I thought I had seen you post that you wouldn’t be going for this car though, have I got that wrong or have you changed your mind?

I literally haven’t even test driven any other car, I knew this was the car for me next!

Congrats on joining the club late in the game, do you have an allocation before the shutdown?
It takes me ages to make a choice to be honest but I think its the natural progression but I don't think I have ever dismissed it. However, I've had a 911.2S for a week while mine was in for some work and its really grown on me. It's the first turbo car I have driven which has little to no lag and its a really competent package.

My order is caveat'ed though as the car has to be Mexico Blue no ifs, ands, or buts.. So all being well, it's going to be one of the last cars off the production line later this year early next I am more than happy to wait for the color.

This is my current spec http://www.porsche-code.com/PJ236RZ3

However, I also want the following changes:

Blue Stitching instead of Rhodium Silver
Wheels in Platinum Satin
Few other little bits and bobs
Hi Andy - do you have a confirmed PTS slot from your OPC for the end of the year - I've been asking for a PTS order and my OPC is telling me that they have been told by Porsche PTS won't be opening again before the production run closes on the 991.2 GTS. Any help much appreciated as would love to add PTS to my order and am very happy to wait until the end of the run if need be.

Love this, it looks fabulous!

I saw the Riviera Blue GTS at Silverstone and that looked equally as impressive.

After being offered PTS by my OPC I thought long and hard but didn't like the uncertainty regarding delivery times. I went for Crayon in the end - looks stunning in the flesh

GTS looks great. Forgive me if this has been covered before, but is the Aerokit Cup now not available at all? I know it's all personal preference, but I think this option made an already superb car just about perfect.

Was that the PEC Silverstone or OPC Silverstone?

I must admit I didn't like the Crayon at first but I've seen a few cars in the flesh with it and really like it.

Cheers, all being well they allow the PTS choices when the factory reopens later this year.

Yes, that car should have the "Aerokit" on it in the pictures, well I say aero kit it's the sports design package and for £842 you get a extra lip on the rear spoiler.

The Riviera GTS was at the OPC, lightly used, up for £124k if I remember rightly. I test drove the car and the spec and colour were pretty much spot on.

I did want my car to be blue and the Rivera / Mexico blue suits the car very well but being PTS this extended the lead time substantially and I really didn't want to wait that long. The Miami blue was available but it just doesn't look right to my eyes. It's more turquoise / greeny to me.

I'm happy with grey primer though, can't wait for it to be delivered!

I'm really not sure about the Miami Blue, as I agree its too much green really.

Excellent stuff, you'll have to post pictures once it arrives. Are you going for the Porsche logo along the doors like on the 991R?

Hi, I thought the PTS window had closed? Is this for a build after the shutdown?

The PTS window has shut, this is for a build after the shutdown. However, there is a change they may not allow any PTS cards after that so I'll need to choose what to do then. However, I have signed my order with the agreement that ill be getting a PTS car if not its cancelled.

I will indeed post some pictures when it arrives in March.

The 911R stripes along the side has been done to good effect by some owners on here, i'm not sure I will though. Some of the guys who have been lucky enough to receive a GT3 Touring allocation have also gone down this route with the decals.

I have deleted the 'Carrera GTS' logo to just leave 'Porsche' and this really seems to clean up the rear end somewhat. Like you, I have also opted for the Sport Design Package spoiler lip, it is very subtle but looks the business.

I picked up my C2 GTS (PDK) on the weekend beer. Purchased as my new daily to replace my R8 V10+.

My first impression is that it's SOOOOO nice to be back in a 911. The brakes are amazing compared to the R8 (by far the cars weakest point), the only criticism I have atm is that I feel its too quiet, especially in comparison to my old 997 GTS with a sharkwerks exhaust. She's booked in with GVE to get an Akrapovic system so hopefully, that fixes its fairly muted sound.

Here's some pics from collection day.
