Only if you have PDLS
Yes, I chose the LED lights but on the GTS PDLS is standard? Porsche don’t make it easy, do they?!!

PDLS is standard on the GTS - if you upgrade to LED’s you get PDLS Plus. The question is what exactly does the ‘Plus’ get you that the standard PDLS doesn’t have?

Plus gets you the dynamic high beam and intersection assistance. Porsche don’t make it easy, do they?!!

I use the auto high beam on my Boxster quite often.
Hi all,
Had a bit of a nightmare today! Never scuffed a rim on previous cars but driving down a very tight road in central london, scuffed my rear right side alloy this evening. Not sure what the best thing for me to do next is? Should I take it to Porsche and see if they can “refurbish” the rim or take it to an independent.
Would love to hear from anyone with experience with the 20” diamond GTS alloys and what they have done.
Thanks

Sorry to hear about the wheel. Lepsoms in Kent are the best place to do wheels.
Most likely where an OPC would send it as well.
Thank you for your response. Do you have anywhere closer to central london that you can recommend. Most likely where an OPC would send it as well.
Also do you think these alloys can be refurbed? If it’s just refurb I don’t think OPC and Independent will be too much difference price wise?

She be an easy refurb as its painted not diamond cut. The diamond cut finish which doesnt apply to your wheel is v difficult to refurb as essentially its polished lacquered bare metal and therefore hard to hide the repair. In your case the final finish will just involve a respray black.
Thanks for the advice! I think I will take to OPC West london to get them done Porsche Reading use this outfit for body and rim repairs https://www.premierpanelskills.co.uk
I would only use a company that a OPC use, tbh..

Sorry, bit off topic, but can anybody recommend the least bulky child seats for a 911 to fit a 7 year old? Thanks....
I use the Porsche one you can buy from any OPC and that I works well even in the back of a 991 cab which has a very upright seat back. My 8 year old is pretty tall so he’s moved onto a simple booster but the younger 2 still use the full seat. SSJ197 said:
Hi all. What’s the general wisdom on 991.1 demand at present with the availability issues on the .2 and the age old turbo v n/a debate?
Am I going to have much trouble selling? Got an incoming GT3 hence GTS needs to go unfortunately.
All about spec, colour and mileage. My impression is that the market is a little bit slow at the moment but if you have a good spec car I reckon you should get a decent price. Am I going to have much trouble selling? Got an incoming GT3 hence GTS needs to go unfortunately.
What spec is your car ? I'd expect an OPC to want at least £10k margin on a trade-in price.

The Halfords High Back Booster seat is compact and the perfect fit for the back seats in the 991.2 GTS Coupe. I use the full seat for my 5 year old and for the 8 year old you can take the back off and just use the booster. http://www.halfords.com/kids-zone/car-seats/child-...
