That looks nice, thanks. My incoming GT3 is GT Silver so feel like a need a different colour - did you do PTS - how much was that? And they look like the Black LEDs - is that right?
Hello. I'd do PTS at the drop of a hat rather than another variation on silver/grey, but the build delay associated with PTS may mean that its not being offered if they're rushing through the last builds before the big shutdown. Actually, I just realised that I'm a hypocrite - I chose Crayon for my GTS rather than waiting for PTS!After being told mine had slipped back a couple of weeks to collection on the 24th I got a call yesterday from the dealership to say it had just been delivered.
So paint treatment rearranged for next week and pick up date has returned to the original date of Saturday the 10th. I am hoping spring will have returned by then.

Just checked - it's not available this year.yes completely agree with the colour point, just looks so good imo. Also pleased with the PSE noise, was really worried as lots of people complain (and I previously had a cayman GTS 981), but have to say its perfectly fine note. Granted not quite as sharp, by no means a spoiler for me. And with the windows down today it sounded great.

Whats everyone been told re running in. I was told <4000 revs for 1k miles then let ‘er rip....
my OPC said just make sure its warmed up and then your good to go, full rev range. However, I will be following the 1k miles approach. When I questioned with the OPC they claimed the engines are already "run-in" as part of the factory testing process these days. I have no idea what is correct but will prob do 1k miles and change the oil just for peace of mind as I intend to keep it beyond the factory warranty. Trotmant said:

My OPC also said to go for it as soon as warmed up but I’m going with the recommendation from the owners manual below. I’m up to 1500 miles now, so another 300 before opening the taps fully!
Owners manual:
—-
In a new vehicle, the moving parts first have to be run in with each other. The first 3,000 km (1,865 miles) are required for this. The oil and fuel consumption may be somewhat higher than normal during this time.
Drive as follows during the running-in period:
▸
Preferably take longer trips. If possible, avoid frequent cold starts with short distances.
▸
Do not participate in motor racing events, sports driving schools, or similar.
▸
Avoid high speeds of over 4,000 revolutions per minute. Drive at low speeds when the engine is cold.
