Cancel admiral and get a quote from NFU.
100 miles into ownership and I’ve already got a bloody puncture !
Called nfu before I went with admiral, and based on postcode they wouldn’t even quote me frown

It’s not even a bad postcode, but is city centre and I’m guessing they prefer more rural.

Yes a few on here have fitted them. IMO are easily fitted and removed - If you haven't already seen, Zunsport have a Youtube vid showing the how-to.

...

As for the OPC comment, I wouldn't worry too much, easily removed and in 4,500 miles haven't seen any temp differences outside of Porsche's recommended ranges in normal or sport modes
I agree, easily fitted and do a great job. No change in temps on my 981 GTS either, I've run the grilles for nearly two years now.

I'd disagree with the "easily removed" comment though. The clips bite into the black plastic bumper inserts and will be a bh to get off, plus they'll damage the insert. You may need to buy new clips to refit them too as I think you'd trash them getting them off!

They're not designed to be routinely removed once installed.

Aaahh! Center locks - have you guys brought all the extra kit needed to remove the center lock nuts so the wheels can be removed?

Not checked but on my other ones it came as a kit in the boot.

Yep, nearside bulkhead under the plastic trim.
I was referring to the longer breaker bar and possibly a new torque wrench required for center locks. Personally I don't mind having the wheels off for a yearly clean, same for the arches but haven't taken the plunge on the kit required.
Unless there is another way of loosing / tightening center locks, scaffold pole?!?!

+ screw-in wheel guide - so you don’t damage hub or brake disks
+ grease that ought to be reapplied whenever you are taking offf and putting back on.

Personal choice but that is why I have not gone for centre locks as too much hassle when you need to remove the wheel.

Owned 14 cars over the past 10 years and I have never had the need to personally remove a wheel. How often would the average person remove a wheel? The car doesn't come with a spare, so can't really see the point.

Thats quite lucky in 20 years of driving i have had to switch out a good few for spacesavers...however for 991s the puncture repair kit worked fine when needed in a 997 and would expect it would get you somewhere where you can wait for a proper recovery in the 991s

Apart from cleaning a set of winter tires is another sure porsche will do it for you but its less fun and more restrictive

Wow love that.
I like the sports design pack but a lot of cash for small tail lip relative to gen 1 version you think?

I do like the sports design package but haven’t taken it on my cars, got a call today saying my car is coming 3 weeks early. My second 991.2 gts , sold last one in November re ordered a few weeks after so really looking forward to being reacquainted with it.
Really not fair, mines put back 3 weeks and yours is pulled forward 3 weeks!

Love the balls on the person who ordered the mint green, neatly went for it myself.

Maybe check with your OPC?
Mine wasn’t due to be built for a couple more weeks, but I checked today and it’s due for completion tomorrow - I should have it in a couple of weeks!
Production does seem to be bouncing around a bit at the moment.

No more orders for the GTS now, only the 4GTS post shut down.

Just been told this afternoon.

It was built several weeks ago, it’s stuck in the backlog of exclusive manufaktor builds, probably only for the carbon lit sills.

Still, with all this snow and more due next weekend possibly, it might be a blessing in disguise to not be picking it up this Friday.

Hopefully good news values wise as my more or less new high spec manual night blue GTS (1st March) needs to go quicker than I thought - ended up being very temporary but fantastic car all the same! If anybody interested let me know?

Few Night Blue pics post detail this week - pics don’t do the colour justice, has quite a fleck to it, but a GTS looks great in most colours!

Collect my Targa 4 GTS hopefully tomorrow or Saturday morning. GT silver, just been to look at it and looks great. The dealer promised me a video of it an I'll post it later.

Quite excited to be honest.Looking forward to seeing how it drives.
