Thanks David, that's really helpful, but then again, not... I drove the GTS2 at the Porsche Experience last month & it was amazing, so I'm going to have to see if I can get a decent test in the 4

Its a curious one i almost wondered this too hence the comment about being close to a turbo.

had it been a rwd perhaps with buckets would be less confusing..i mean the awd gts is still a more fun and better looking car than the TT imo car however at that price you have to really prefer it
I much prefer the smoother, more elegant and classical unspoilt shape of the GTS.

In my opinion the Turbo S lacks certain emotion - a full on, “point and squirt” extremity.

Bucket seats were close to being ordered; however I do find them too hard on occasions. I am sure the second owner will concur.

She’s arrived!

Probably the highest spec’d GTS in the UK.

Finished in Grigio Telesto (Lamborghini Metallic Grey).

Porsche configurator: http://www.porsche-code.com/PJNHY1N2

Just awaiting Techart upgrade conversion, HRE P104 alloy wheels and PPF.

Amazing. I love that colour. Didn’t realise I could have done PTs.

I'm really not a fan of those wheels or kit (techart) but each to their own.

I've got a PDK 991.2 GTS can and a 981 Spyder. I've done 3,000 miles in each most of them either hooning around the Alps or Spain.

The GTS is a very capable car, very easy to live with and a great everday car. For everyday driving in the UK, I think it's quite hard to beat. I prefer the steering in the 981 Spyder, the noise, the engine and the way the rear end is easier to move about at lower speeds.

I've also got a Macan GTS, what I've learnt from my recent foray into the Porsche world is that they are masters at filling niches. Each model seems to fit perfectly in its little niche, which is bloody annoying as it keeps me from selling any of them!

I agree with you on the lift, I've never used mine.
Thanks Coyft.

The kids will not let me sell at anyway at the moment. Going to drive it properly over the summer as it still has not reached the 2k miles yet. Hopefully the prices wont drop much in the next year or so.

Very smart, is it Miami Blue or PTS?

Its Miami. Sometimes in the cloudy conditions its a bit dull. In the recent summer light though, it looks darker and deeper and I prefer it to Riviera blue (that would have been my PTS colour).

That seems to be the way Porsche are going with colours. Carmine, Miami and Lava are all "deeper and darker" than the more traditional Porsche colours....and I think it suits the cars.

Tinof40 - lovely looking car you have there.

2000 miles into my GTS and I'm deeply impressed with it.

Mine is also Miami Blue and it looks utterly wonderful in bright sunshine. At the time of ordering the car I was a little anxious with my colour choice but I have absolutely no regrets with M.B. driving

Excellent choice, congratulations!

Still running mine in but last week I was at the PEC and whilst is was thoroughly good fun, you can see how accomplished the GTS is.

Only a few more sleeps to go...!
