Heads up. Possibly the most desirable, unique, highest spec, low mileage, freaky mint mint 991.1 GTS has just gone on sale at Romans. Going to miss this special car.
Begs the question....Why didn't you drive it more ?

I saw the car when it was new at OPC Silverstone. Was previously owned by another PH'er I believe.

Fair question... I actually put a 1/3 of its total miles on the clock. And lovely miles they were too!
The car is such a looker and being perfect in all respects, the thought of dirtying or god forbid, marking it, did refrain my eagerness to
run it out that often Besides, luckily I am in the fortunate position to have another vehicle - my van!

The previous owner was of similar mind and his reluctance to sell was more than obvious. All makes good news for the next keeper

It took Silverstone a while to sell it too. One buyer put a deposit down on it to be told by his wife that she was less than keen on it....

It is a great looking car and with the ducktail and buckets etc a great spec but it’s very much a statement car! Bit too much for me and I am one of the few who ticked the Lava Orange box on my GT3 and my wife’s Boxster is Ruby Star

Duck tail looks brilliant. I didnt think this option was available much?

Have my eye on a lovely red 991CS with the same spoiler. It really finishes the back end IMO

Ruby star on a boxster is different!

What I don't get about that GTS though as eye catching as it was - why didnt you drive it more?
And why was it on AT privately for so long (I seem to recall 105-110k being the figure)?

Did you never really gel with it? Or more of a statement for you personally (visually)?

I think the 991.1 GTS is one of the best sounding 911's ever made. Its howl is addictive.

Agreed. Fantastic sound and a great all rounder.

Only on 991.1....not available on 991.2 because it’s turbocharged. Something to do with airflow at the back of the car and the vents for the turbo’s. Seems odd to me given the Turbo and Turbo S bits have big spoilers on them!

Have to say. I think the 991.1 GTS is a stunning looker. Has the turbo body width but without any gaping holes, which for me, always ruined/broke the side profile view

This one in particular had it all inc buckets, options galore & that wonderful tail spoiler. I too loved this PTS colour choice, believing it was one of one.... For bloody good reason my wife kept reminding me. She also kept asking 'who the hell would buy a car the same colour as the Severn Bridge?' Haha

Excuse it not being a Porsche, sentiment is the same. They should be driven not bubble wrapped and left.

I’m actually looking to move on my manual 991.2 GTS as I’m buying a spyder.

It’s a great driver spec in white with carbon folding buckets, manual plus extended leather and Bose etc.

Should be an easy sell since Porsche dealers have zero new cars to sell ATM

They have very little atm!

I’m not looking for a fortune so if anyone’s interested let me know. It’s lovely.

Can we see some photos please? biggrin

Not in the market but always nice to see...

Porsche well and truly cocked up with factory shut down and refit/retooling...
Must be infuriating dealers in the UK as I wonder how much earnings they are missing out on because of it!

Porsche is still busy churning out cars for ROW but not EU..They just got caught wrong footed with WLTP rules unlike most car makers who were better prepared.
