997 Gen 2

How can I tell the difference between the Gen 1 and Gen 2 was it 2009 model year or late 2008

LED running front lights and rear LED lights are a give away (Gen 2).

PDK on Gen 2 as well.

Gen 2 C4S has red stripe on the rear, Gen 1 doesn't

First 997.2 were delivered in June 2008; mine's just coming up for it's eighth birthday.

From the outside, the really obvious clues are:
- shape of rear light cluster
- LED daytime running lights
- alloy wheels styles

Or just look inside, the interiors are completely different (much improved on the 997.2).
