Yes a team mate managed that 550 bhp exiting pitlane on fresh cold slicks at 2 am .... happens ...
But trackdays are always a race in the morning at the drop of the flag ,, best to chill and by late afternoon empty track ..

Quite. On a proper, competition orientated car, the difference in performance - brakes and tyres - bewtween cold and even mildly warmed up can be huge. It's nothing like a road car.

Yep. Most racing cars feel horrible either cold or 7/10ths. They need to be at 9-10/10ths to start working properly
