933 Cabriolet - replacing pillar seals to prevent wind noise

I am the proud owner of a 1995 933 Cabriolet. Wind noise seems to be becoming something of a problem above 70mph. I was considering replacing the pillar seals on the hood in the hope that this might help. Does anyone have a view? Also I note that the Porsche parts are twice the price of OEM brand, again does anyone have experience of the two options.
Finally the seals on my car are fabric covered......is the fabric a separate part? The pics I have found online seem to suggest the part will be deliever without any fabric covering.
