Just sold my DCT M2
Hated the gearbox ( should've bought the manual) and didn't like the seats....... Anyway
Have just purchased a 2008 42k mile 997 carrera S
Is in the process of having the bores checked ( part of purchase deal)
Have spoken to Porsche about the history and all is good
Should I put a porsche warranty on her ( £216 for inspection and £1100 for the year)
Thinking yes
Any advice appreciated in general about ownership
Thanks Ric

Yep, it's worth paying Porsche tax - may be worth buying two years to save on the annual check

Only my opinion
Never felt the seat was in the perfect position...... The DCT box seemed brilliant at first but left me feeling uninvolved ( like a play station game) so easy (too easy) to pile on the speed.... Almost to accomplished..... I like to think I'm driving the car
The dealer who bought mine had already sold 2 manuals and agreed
Love the 8 year old Porsche already although not as quick ..... Better feel good factor imo

Makes sense on a gen 1. Do the 2 year deal and then review after that.
