Just seen this on Reddit. To my eyes this is the perfect colour for a Touring. Apparently it’s PTS Irish Green.

Sorry, but I can't bear this anymore....

You 'lose' money, you don't loose it!!!! smile
It's remarkable how many people who are barely literate can afford an expensive 911. I'm not sure whether that says good or bad things about the prospects faced by the ESN in the UK.

You think that those who can't tell the difference between lose and loose might be dyslexic?

It's possible I suppose, but that poses another question - if only 4% of the populace are dyslexic, why are they so over-represented on car forums?

One of the first signs in a child who has dyslexia is trouble with literacy. Not always, but they can go hand in hand.

Personally, I think we shouldn't be bringing this up on a car forum.
There are many people, hard working people who have successful businesses who are much more wealthy than those who are super literate on here.

In actual fact, it can work the other way entirely can't it? Where very literate people are less successful financially.

My point? Simply that it can work both ways.

Sorry have I hit a nerve?!

I was simply saying that we shouldn't be bashing people on here for illiteracy and that being literate can mean you're still going to be relatively poor as an opposite to the original post about 'It's remarkable how many people who are barely literate can afford an expensive 911'!

If I could have got PTS I think I’d have gone for a Touring....crying out for a colour like Irish Green.

Mr cmoose, you need to chill out a little dude. I wasn't saying that you were bashing people. My comment was in relation to the original post if you read it back. You joined the conversation.

Lets take a break or you'll be at 43,000 posts by lunchtime. smile

If there was a PH 2018 prize for most witty post of the year Fokker’s won it. Spat me coffee all over my laptop shyte hehe

Anecdotally went for dinner with the two of cleverest people I was at school with. Ones head of tropical diseases at a big Pharma and is massively under paid. The other was top scholar to Harrow and then straight in to investment banking which he chucked in after a 10 years and is now a professional poker player (I kid u not). Neither particularly wealthy.

By contrast certain friends who left school at 16 with less than 5 GCSEs are tax exiles by their mid 20s and mid 30s. They weren’t thick just simply couldn’t be bothered at school.

Guys who cares really?!
If I'd been illiterate enough to have been able to afford dozens of new Porsches, I'd have hypothetically gone for a Touring in oak green. No pts option I know.
At least if the new GT3 has a touring version, there's the green option now. Having said that I'm not so sure the 992 will lend itself to more retro colours?

If you want empirical evidence maybe look in the mirror? We should always start by looking at ourselves cmoose.
