Well, I was looking for a PDK car in pretty much any colour except Sapphire or Miami Blue
Turns out that my wife loves this blue colour...
Why manual? Why not ...
Car has decent spec with PCCBs, Lift, LEDs, Folding Buckets, Clubsport etc and is essentially brand new with 24 miles on the clock. I’d been struggling to get my head around paying overs, having failed to secure a build slot, but was happy with the deal and the fact that I will, in essence, be getting a new car.
Can’t wait to collect it now ...
Yes was new to market I notice and perfect spec, manuals the only choice imo, welcome to the very exclusive Manual, CS, PCCB , LED, lift , folding bucket club. :-) Turns out that my wife loves this blue colour...

I doubt there is another car bar our 2 in that spec.
You will wee wee your self, the car is utterly amazing , I Don,t say that very often so get very excited, cars really don't get any better than this at any price, old or new.

I jumped on it as soon as I saw it. I loved the PDK when I tried one at a PEC day so am looking forward to trying a manual. Hopefully I’ll like it.
Ive not beeen following the spec debate - i’d have added light design package and a few bits and bobs but it’s got all the main bits on it for me.
Only downside is I now need to sell my GT4 as don’t have the garage space to keep :-(

They were done by Chartwell in Derby. I gave up asking for CXX options a while back after constantly being told no, no, no and no, despite being encouraged to add CXX options lolI have Weiss gold gloss alloys on my 997 2RS and always loved the contrast against black. Decided to go satin for a little twist.

Thanks for the details! I wonder what they’d look like against GT Silver??I have Weiss gold gloss alloys on my 997 2RS and always loved the contrast against black. Decided to go satin for a little twist.

Best bit of the RS gold (Arum ) wheels is the GT3 RS stamped on the rim .... nice touch , 7 months and not herbed mine once happily
You should never drive herbed. Spellering pedantry aside (clearly an autocorrect) hopefully for good on this thread, I was out in my 7.1 GT3 yesterday, on the way to Sports &'Classic in Cheshire (new brakes and cup diff plates, in case you're wondering).
Grotty day to be out and only just in the 'right' temperature range for Cup 2s, so going into a dip in the road I was surprised to see a (crayon) grey 991.2 GT3 coming from the opposite direction. The driver saw me and out his hand up to wave - obviously and enthusiast owner rather than a flipper - and I waved back - couldn't see the driver at first but saw the plate ended in the letters "CH". Sir Chris Hoy.

Morning Digga, I heard Sir Chris was a big fan of our GT cars so not surprised he has one. Question though, did he go for a manual or PDK? Check his social media - video of the car with his Sharkwerks exhaust.
Does he not still race for Nissan? If so surprised that he’s not driving a Nismo GT-R or something (contracted to).Anyway, good on him!
