991.2 GTS; must haves

As I've mentioned on another post I've a deposit down on a 991.2 GTS and I'd be keen to know, from others experience, what are must have options and which ones should be avoided.
I'm 90% sure it will be a Coupe.
I've had 3 types of Porsche over the past 5 years, including 2 boxsters, but this will be my first 911. The itch has gotten too much!

If you can afford it the bucket seats and the lowered suspension. Bucket seats are not a "must have" but hugely desirable and help make the car feel special.
Have they given you any idea when it will be announced?
Thanks for the responses, much appreciated. Whilst I intend to keep the car for a few years its nice to know what options are worth having to ensure the car retains its value.

As a .1 GTS owner, my suggestions would be:
MUST HAVES:
Heated seats
Cruise control
GTS Alcantara Interior
DESIRABLES:
Privacy glass
Glass sunroof
PDLS (got this and its brilliant)
Auto dim rear view mirror (seems out of place omitting on a £100k car)
These would be the ones to spec with 're-sale' in mind. Above and beyond, everyone's preferences are different - ducktail or not, PASM or PASM+, which colour.... these are all subjective and opinions vary.

With the 991.2 I found the 'must have' is the naturally aspirated engine from the 991.1. I bought and owned a 991.2 Targa 4S (with PSE sports exhaust) for 4 days then sold it. Have a good go in a 991.1 GTS back to back with a 991.2S before you commit, esp if this is your first 911 - would be a shame to miss out on the NA engine from your first purchase. I found the sound of the turbo cars to be awful. Wished I'd tested before buying.

Has anyone any thoughts or real user experience on the Multi Function Steering Wheel?
I am asking because I am configuring a C4 GTS and would like the MF Heated wheel. Looking closely when I tick the box the Multifunction control stalk on the right of the steering wheel disappears so I assume you control all the options on the MFD by the buttons/scroll wheels on the steering wheel? How user friendly do you find this? I am used to the control stalk and find it easy to use - but maybe the controls on the steering wheel are OK after getting used to them?

The steering wheel controls are simple to use and do make it very easy to thumb the wheel and then push to select a function and it works great on our Macan. For the 911 however I prefer the simple steering wheel without controls. I don't find myself missing the buttons using the stalk as I love the clean sport design steering wheel. I've driven a Boxster S and a Panamera 4S with the multi function wheel in the last three months...I really liked how the scroll wheels etc worked I am asking because I am configuring a C4 GTS and would like the MF Heated wheel. One thing I’m unsure on is whether to go with the now standard SPASM or if to have the nil cost option of PASM which increases the height ride by 10mm and I assume gives a slightly more comfortable ride.
I will not be tracking the car.
Whichever way I go I was planning on having the front axle lift system.
I’ve had a test drive in a standard C4S Cab and the ride was pretty perfect I thought suspension wise.
I’m due to have a test drive in a new GTS Targa next week which only comes specced with the standard PASM, but unable to test drive the any 991.2 with SPASM as the dealer currently has no cars available
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Yes, get the dealer to arrange a morning at Silverstone to try the different versions properly. Personally i felt the standard GTS suspension was very good and would stick with it. Optioning the car with Carerra S suspension might also be a mistake come resale.
If getting a GTS go full GTS or don't bother and just get an S.
