991.2 GT3 - Colours. Spec. Q+A. etc etc..
Discussion
My 991.1 GT3 with cage was rattle free and way but way better than the 991.1 S I have had. But like miles better. Might be the added rigidity of the cage but never had issues. Whilst the 991.1 Carreras have been terrible (admittedly 2011 and 2012 MY)
Some people are rightly a bit more sensitive to rattles and with a new Cayenne or Panamera you would rightly be a little miffed but with a GT car, its basically par for the course. Brakes squeak, dash has the odd rattle, cage will 'tink tink' now and again...
I would imagine its very hard to make a rattle free car as light as possible with hard track bias suspension. There have to be some compromises.
It's all part of the experience if you ask me...

Yep, Club Sport, squeaking question about the cage. I was having a lovely Sunday night......
Porsche GT cars are generally a bit squeaky. I think if someone buys a GT3 or a GT4 thinking that they'll be completely rattle free then you're about to be disappointed. Not in all cases I must admit as my current GT4 is relatively good but the previous 4 Porsches I have had, have had some squeak or another due to the hard suspension. Some people are rightly a bit more sensitive to rattles and with a new Cayenne or Panamera you would rightly be a little miffed but with a GT car, its basically par for the course. Surely I'm not the only one with a 6 week pull forward .....
When is it arriving? Just found this vid apologies if posted before...a bit of gratuitous in car acceleration/red line action. Engine does sound fantastic! Not sure you should be doing that on a car with 1000km on it though...

Dealer mentioned it to me as option yesterday but didn't know when it would go live . Definitely to late for my build, as is manual . I'm almost tempted to discuss giving my early slot up ....
Up until now I've only heard about DrS' experience / confirmation and what 'Car' magazine have said. I'm October build so hoping for something along the lines of PTS and X90. Here's my confirmed spec in pictures -
I've got a couple of extra exclusive items (from the configurator) that don't appear in the images but none outside of the configurator. Having the first car from dealer I'm keen to get the car on the road without delays.
Good luck to you PHers waiting for PTS, X90, manual and the yellow 12 o'clock marker.
Thanks to phooey and everyone else here, I've had fun creating my ideal car. As a result of this thread, I've dropped Club Sport, kept the alcantara wheel and added the sun visors.
Cheers
