991.2 GT3 - Colours. Spec. Q+A. etc etc..

Mexcio looks like Riviera, not much in it, Mexcio just a hint darker, Miami Blue is the worst it just looks dirty.
Voodoo is the best blue imo and in all pics of Mexico people over saturate them to look alike Voodoo :-)
That's Riviera/Miami,Mexcio, the outer 2 cars really look very close and better in pics than real life imo.
Voodoois a much stronger blue , but as I said every one saturates the weaker blues on forums to look like Voodoo !!
So now we can say Mexcio is just about Riviera and every one over saturates pictures, here is a Voodoo, Miami, Reviera pic.

Hello all, I have been enjoying this forum thread for a few week so having finalised my spec a number of weeks ago. Thought it appropriate that I include my spec in the thread, so here it goes;
GT Silver, LWB, Bose, Silver seat belts, satin silver wheels, PCCB, digital radio, no cage, full leather, extended leather, red steering wheel marker, LED headlights, reversing camera, Ali fuel filler cap, MANUAL, front lift, chrono, cruise.
Build commences 22nd Sept and arrives at dealer in U.K. on 20th Oct. Will be on the road just in time to put it away for winter! Can't wait .....

Think it was the mild winter before last when even in the mid North UK the roads remained unsalted until well into December.GT Silver, LWB, Bose, Silver seat belts, satin silver wheels, PCCB, digital radio, no cage, full leather, extended leather, red steering wheel marker, LED headlights, reversing camera, Ali fuel filler cap, MANUAL, front lift, chrono, cruise.

Great spec. Are you having standard platinum stitching to go with the silver belts?

Phooey.. Challenge for you!
I've changed my mind back to GT from Sapphire.. there are great press high res Sapphire shots but none for the GT SIlver..
Anyone got any GOOD GT Silver shots, preferably with black wheels and steels!
Cheers

I agree just wanted to see the GT3 as it has all the extra black bits and wing etc.. Getting excited about the car!

Not a great photo mind! There were a few pics of that car so I think if you go through the first few pages you should find some more.
Edit

Yep had seen those just wondering if there were any decent ones out there. I'm sure some will turn up soon...
Not much out there of the 991.2 in gt yet. You could try this https://www.autogespot.de/porsche-991-gt3-mkii/201...GT is pretty much guaranteed to look good on any Porsche. Might be worth searching for gen1 pics and add 10% for the 991.2 looking a bit more modern (better?). If you have ever seen a 991.1 RS in gt they look fantastic (I was drooling over the gt-silver RS at Leicester last week - that has black rims)

If I can't get PTS I think GT Silver is the box I am going to tick...black wheels with all the black accents I think will look pretty good. I'd like to have the balls for Racing Yellow but not really a colour I've liked that much on cars. If Lava Orange was a "proper" Orange I'd have that in the blink of an eye.

Racing yellow is still my first albeit brave choice with GT silver also a strong candidate. I have GT silver on my new GTS and i love it especially with the black wheels; however yellow is still on my order configuration and unless i chicken out will likely be the final outcome. Any light colour suits the black accents better imo but probably needs black rims to tie it all in despite my preference for light colour alloys.I'm also probably likely to go for the clubsport pack despite the 20kg weight penalty even just to enhance its eventual resale appeal along with LWBS. Apparently most Porsche insiders secretly prefer the folding option due to its narrower seat base and also surprisingly a bit lighter than the much hyped LWBS due to the complete lack of motors although the LWBS suit anyone taller than 5' 11'' due to height control.
My first choice of manual gearbox is now less sure after experiencing the brilliant new gen PDK on my GTS. The new GT3 is going to be an absolute belter in whatever spec or colour one chooses so all these choices will be personal anyway and no right or wrong either way imo.
