I saw a GT4 at OPC Swindon this afternoon - GT Silver, satin black wheels and yellow pccbs.
Looked very classy. Probably quite an easy colour to keep nice, as well.
I'm sure it would also suit the GT3.

PTS blues again
Well this confuses things even more if PTS was an option.

Voodoo and Mexico both look perfect but I also like Sapphire which is very close to Voodoo on this picture. Riviera looks too close to Miami but the one I've seen on the metal looked a much nicer shade than this example.

I need to see proper paint samples to make an informed decision if I am lucky to get a chance of PTS and Gelbgrun is also in the mix

My GT4 was Voodoo blue. It's an awesome colour and suits GT cars, but it can look quite different in different lights. Quite a rich blue in dull lighting, but in strong sunlight almost a hint of Mexico blue about it - defo looks best in strong sunlight imo, really pops. Think I would be torn between Voodoo and Mexico - hopefully a dilemma I will get to experience in the second round of GT3 allocations!

If I go for Graphite Blue will it be the only one in the country?

That looks like the one I specced about 40 pages ago on this thread!

Shame I didn't get an allocation this time.

Does it actually look like that 'in the metal'?

It's a mainstream colour, and the ones I've seen look more grey than blue, and quite dull.

I'd definitely want to see a real car, preferably a GT3, in the flesh before committing to it!

We're never going to agree on colour choices Cheib, I think Black looks lost on GB, it needs something lighter to lift it IMO biggrin

With 2 posts in 46 months we'll do well to discuss anything biggrin Life would be very dull indeed if we all wanted the same thing!

Neither has mine when i asked about the X90 pack which leads me to believe that its purely conjecture and internet gossiping.I have yet to lock down my final spec yet and am still wondering how crucial the clubsport is for resale and whether or not speccing folding buckets in lieu of LWBS will be come back to haunt me one day.

There is still no official news, just 'informed expectation'. I wouldn't be counting on it for a car being delivered in 2017.

Personally I don't think that will be a problem as some prefer the folding buckets I think specing 18 way adaptives would be more of an issue!
But you should really spec. what seats suit you not for resale!

I flipped and flopped between folding buckets and LWBS...originally my spec was folding buckets as a good compromise but when I locked down my spec on Tuesday the LWBS made it onto the final locked down spec. My old 997.1 GT3 had the 18 way, which was acceptable back in the day and as a mainly road car worked extremely well. However Romans have a 991R for sale with the 18 way and they just look wrong. However doesnt appear to have impacted the price of the car, they still want £410k for it, in the wrong spec, but having said that it is still for sale rather than sold!

Interestingly TOP555 have two almost identical Ultra Violet 991.1 GT3 RS's in stock, one with folding buckets and the other with LWBS. Comparing and contrasting, the folding buckets could arguably be the better looking seat!

Agree and on the folding buckets you can have the inserts painted body colour which can look great depending on the exterior colour of the car. Most important thing on the buckets is what works for you because of your height/frame.
