Personally I don't think that will be a problem as some prefer the folding buckets I think specing 18 way adaptives would be more of an issue!
But you should really spec. what seats suit you not for resale!
^^^^^^ THIS - Definitely spec what you want and not for resale.

..... 18 way adaptive seat will be pretty rare on the .2GT3 so maybe the rarity will make them more valuable (only joking).

I've had a Graphite Blue loan Boxster fromy my OPC and I liked it....needs black wheels IMHO.
Funnily enough I looked at that pic above and thought to myself that it would better with Titanium wheels!

I'm clearly in a minority! We GT3 enthusiasts/prospective owners are clearly a fussy bunch!

Time to lock Spec ..... which wheel is the brightest silver ? I.e like the 911R. The standard silver or painted satin aluminium ?

Also undecided Folding or 918 buckets ...

I would imagine standard silver is gloss therefore brighter?

And 918 buckets. Always.

I had a number of sleepless nights over the past week with the same dilemma before locking in my spec on Tuesday. For what it's worth, if any help, I went 918 buckets with satin aluminium wheels. And going for light wheels I had to then get PCCB to minimise the brake dust!

Unless you want easy access to the rear?

Or if like many you find them bloody uncomfortable and they don't hold you as snug as the folding ones!
And if you really need 18 way adaptives because of back problems to enjoy your drive!

I had the folding on my precious gt3. The benefits are obvious as you can fold them which makes access to the back much easier and you can store bags behind the cage if you need to.

Also they can be heated removing one ugly blank button. That's also a plus.

I personally found them comfortable and snug. No issues at all but you cannot adjust height so they will be sitting higher than 918 will be in their lowest position. And conversely you can raise them a bit which if you short like me would have been a bonus in town or when not really going for it.

I traded mine back to my OPC last week for 118k and they already had sold it before it came in

Interestingly TOP555 have two almost identical Ultra Violet 991.1 GT3 RS's in stock, one with folding buckets and the other with LWBS. Comparing and contrasting, the folding buckets could arguably be the better looking seat!
Good idea ! Think I'm sticking with folding .

Good pics - you can see how the folding buckets sit you higher in the cabin. That's why I'd take LWBS and lose the rear access smile

If they are the same as the Spyders, the LWBS are much lower. Back to back, the Folding Buckets feel like you are sat on a stool!

Thought so. They are both great but I'm much preferring the Comfort Seats in my GTS. You can recline as much as you want....
