I was there on Monday and there was a Black 997 GT2RS, Lava 991 GT3RS and a White 991.1 GT3

I asked about the 991.2 GT3 but was told there had been a red one there for a few days but it was not there now?
I was there on Monday too with my wife and son. Were you in the morning or afternoon session and what car were you driving? My wife was waving at the camera on the GT2RS as they lapped her so probably ruined their shots. Lol

Me too, I'm finally getting round to my Cayenne S Diesel experience in the morning and the GT3 in the afternoon.

Cheib - did you do your Cayenne PEC?
It would be good to know what its like as I swapped my Cayenne Diesel S for the Turbo S on the day.
I still have a spare PEC day so if you rate it let me know and I'll do it later this year.
Yes I did...really enjoyed it. Amazing how capable it was around the handling circuit...because of it's bulk it really rewards you when you get it right and equally when you get it wrong. I am no driving god but I overtook a 911 Turbo S a couple of times...more to do with how unbelievably slowly it was being driven.

I will take mine to the alps so was especially interested in the ice hill (especially going down it)....the off road course is good if quite small too. Shows you what the car can do and really also shows it's capabilities with the locking diffs etc which rivals like the X5 don't have.

The instructor also made me sit a lot lower in the car which felt very odd but I really like it now....all about the vision. If you sit high up as I used to (long legs) it means you see a lot of bonnet which means your vision gets drawn to it. Lower down there's no bonnet so your vision is where it should be. I already did it in my 911 but hadn't really ever thought of doing so in the Cayenne.
They are excellent in the Alps, trust me.

I sit quite high in mine (isn't that their USP?), it'll be interesting to hear the PEC advice. Thanks for your reply.

(Sorry for going OT Phooey).

The picture of the Crayon car (crap res or not) confirms that it's not the colour for me.

I like that but them black door handles look so wrong and the headlights look a bit too dark - I'd of gone standard to match the wheels. Like the red calipers against MB.

Ah, now this got covered by my OPC when I specced mine (black lights with satin alu wheels). I had a really good chat with a sales guy who seemed a proper geek with speccing cars and as we walked around a MB 991 and he said it's better to match the headlights with the rear lights (tinted, of course, on the GT3) than the wheels. Debatable, I know.....

He usually gets his facts right, so I think it will be Miami.

I think you need to see the colours in daylight to get an informed decision.

I don't like the carbon mirrors and agree that the black headlights look too much on that car.

I saw plenty of Miami at PEC on Wednesday and they didn't look like that. Im really not sure on Miami blue, why didn't they do Mexico as the 2.5k blue option biggrin

I like the black lights but can't stand the look of the halo leds, standard plds are by far the best light option for me but then again I'm going crayon and black handles!!

I'm certain that's not Miami. I would wager Mexico. His site is brilliant by the way, but I think one has slipped though the net.
