Decision made. Now thinking of adding the red stripes as well!

I'll be honest i'm not convinced by the stripes, money would be better spent on the red contrasting stitching...http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/99290/porsche-911-gt3...

I'm doing Sapphire with black LED and black wheels...

Yes maybe boring, but ever so classy. GT Silver shows off the full detail of the body work. Whilst I have been wondering about another colour, very content with my decision to go GT Silver.
I've since had a longer look at the photos of the GT silver one above and i like it more and more the longer i look at it yet something is not quite right imo..I have a new 991,2GTS parked outside in GT silver and i love the colour on it and after pondering and procrastinating for a couple of hours i've come to the conclusion that GT silver needs black rims and platinum rims as in the photos seem to clash with the silver paint..I would also strongly consider satin aluminium wheels as they makes the attractive wheel design really pop in contrast to black rims which disguise them .

I too have a GT Silver GTS outside, and I get what you are saying, but I think I'm going this way. I've seen a few GT Silver 911Rs with the 'bright wheels', which I assume are the Satin Aluminum.
Actually that looks fab..GT silver with either satin black or satin aluminium really rocks and either way you can't go wrong..Now then mates what are your thoughts on yellow with satin aluminium...?Edited by 2010spy on Sunday 25th June 21:47
Had 991 gt3 in gt silver the last 2 1/2 years. One thing that has surprised me, more than a little, is how everyone seems comment how much they like the colour. It picks up the light and reflections very well to really show the shape and curves. Plus you just know it'll look just as good in x number of years. Must be one of easiest colours to maintain, once you've got a couple of layers of nice wax on it's actually difficult to tell it needs a wash!
My 991.1 GT3 was GT Silver with the Platinum wheels. Loved it and gone for exactly the same. I had so many positive comments on it. The only thing I felt it lacked was Clubsport/LWB's - which I've added this time. Also gone for PCCB's to complete the package
It'll be interesting to see how the GT3 has advanced in the past 3 years as I'll be comparing it to the GTS which has really blown me away

Miami Blue for us! full buckets, PCCB's, PDK, front lift, Bi-Xenon's, Satin Platinum wheels, Clubsport, Mirror lowers painted black, Cruise, Grey seat belts, Instrument dials and chrono in white. That will do me nicely after huge amounts of deliberation.
Car is due mid September. I am so pleased , totally delighted and find it hard to believe that I am buying a car that in a lot of ways is superior to my stunning GT3RS.

I am thinking the same Miami blue, full buckets, satin black wheels , Black LEDS, black door handle with mirror base. I am doing steel brakes, Choosing PCCB in Australia will cost me $21,000 which i won't be doing. So red callipers. Do you think colours will clash if i get red stitching interior with red seat belt and red marker on the steering wheel?
or i do your configuration with silver seat belt, silver stitching, white dials and not worry about red brake callipers ?

Did you see the pics earlier in this thread with black door handles? Whilst I "get" the black mirror base I would never go for the black door handles.
