Mid- way through September and no news on 2018 build slots ?! I read on Rennlist that U.S. dealers have them. I wonder if it's Porsche GB that are the hold up ?!
If the first run was average 5 cars per dealer and we're on for similar numbers compared to the gen 1 then that would be something like 2 to 3 cars for OPC in the second run.Fokker said:

I think if there are only two runs this will mean the imminent second run will be similar to the first I.e. average of 5 cars per OPC.I've tried not to bother my OPC or DP too much and will let them get in touch when they have their allocation and build slots confirmed. I have a good relationship with them (I hope) and my new Macan GTS arrives at the end of next month so will hopefully be having a chat before then and getting some good news

I'm taking a similar tactic and Mrs Cheib's Boxster arrives end of October/beginning of November so like you have decent excuses to be speaking to my OPC. Just returned home from an afternoon driving the new GT3 at Silverstone and a very enjoyable sojourn it turned out. The one i drove was a Sapphire blue non clubsport steel braked example and looked good with the platinum rims although not my choice as i don't think the sapphire contrasts enough with the black accents but that may just be me..
To the GT3 itself it basically delivered as expected as i've read all the hyperbole on various forums and press releases. Personally i'm glad i chose PCCBs as i much prefer the initial pedal feel on them despite the steels still being awesome and ultimate stopping power being equal to the PCCBs, but to me the PCCBs feel is superior and well worth the extra outlay imho..
The power at the top end felt incrementally better the the gen 1 as i expected from just an extra 25hp on top of 475hp(<5%) but the low to mid range torque felt much meatier than the gen 1 which needed to be revved harder to give its best. The biggest change from the gen 1 is the increased noise especially in the lower ranges which i loved and never grew tired of and pretty addictive.
The N1 Michelin cups feel on another league to the gen 1's N0s and very progressive on the limit and imo easier to catch than the gen 1.The wet grip was pretty astonishing and easy to slide even with all esp/tcs off which was a big improvement on the gen 1 maybe down to the tyres or something else i'm not qualified to comment on.
We also took it out on the public roads as i wanted to get better perspective on the ride and again i was blown away as it felt more compliant than my GTS over uneven pitted roads around Silverstone. During the road route while being distracted by a pretty blonde walking on the pavement i unwittingly hit a speed bump and the GT3 sailed over it with no hint of grounding which makes me doubt whether the front lift is as much a must have as its been hyped although my instructor said its essential on ferry ramps and steep garage inclines.
Another comment i wish to make is behind the seats looks very odd without the cage and am glad i chose the clubsport as with LWBS there is no access anyway so anybody going for no clubsport should choose the folding buckets for ease of access but i personally much prefer the LWBS for its height control.

Thank you. I also agree that reviews from non journo`s offer a better understanding of a car from an owners perspective. So thanks for your review.
Journo`s like to tell how fast it is and how sideways it goes.
I would like an actual owners review of referring to the Pro`s and Cons of everyday life on public roads.
It seems that when an owner gets their car delivered they no longer post on this site about the car . Its a shame as I am waiting for another 4 months for my delivery and any and all info would be appreciated.
FYI I have the LWB`s without the roll cage. I would prefer the space in the back to load stuff in. I have no intention of rolling the car.
I have chosen manual with the intent to drive rarely however get a thrill at low revs and general street driving.
In Austraila the PCCB option is $22000.00 there is no way I can justify that amount of money for ceramic brakes, That being said I did pay $1000.00 for alcantara sun visors. hahaha.
