Those photos of crayon confirms to me its a great colour if you want to show off your brand spanking new GT3 in a heavily populated environment and remain incognito at the same time..No wonder the driver looks so miserable..grumpy

Clearly no ones looking as theres no GT3 badge!

Have to say Crayon just doesn't work imo on the GT3...especially with black wheels.

I think Crayon looks fantastic - lovely retro-colour - and needs the dark wheels

However, whenever I've seen Crayon 'in the metal' it always looks darker than in pictures.

Finally the time came to collect my car up.

First impressions are what you would expect. For some reason I am really surprised that is still has the character of a 996 or 997 GT3 which I thought might have been lost now that the car is bigger and more refined but thankfully those mechanical noises remain.

Do you know if it made the boat on Friday .
? Mine checked in Emden last Tuesday , but was still showing there on Saturday . I'm hoping they just forgot to Scan it out .
Not sure as I don't have access to the tracking. Dealer expecting delivery to them this week so fingers crossed.
Has yours turned up yet ? I've just been informed I didn't make last Fridays boat , but its shipping tomorrow .

That looks fab - not a fan of GR on the GT3 until I saw this smile

Agreed, it's like driving around in a car shaped beige cardigan.

Yep. Shrinking the image has brightened it on my PC. Here's the full size version:

Couple of points reading the above :

- I had steels on my gen 1. Could not fault them. Pedal feel was great. Fading non existent. And I didn't have to worry about chopping them not the rate of wear on track. Steels are just great for peace of mind and if you want go and less show.

That said the gen 2 will have PCCB if I finally get one. For weight reasons more than anything else.

- carmine really growing on me. Love the colour shame if I took it on the touring it would be pretty much a GTS on steroids..

Mine arrived at Emden last Friday, hoping it gets on the boat soon (I have a hopeful feeling that it turns up at dealer on Tuesday)
