This works : Pretty sure this is a good representation of Miami - can anyone confirm smile

I would say that's a good representation of Miami. Although I'm not a fan, it does work well with the sat alu and pccb's.
Yep - looks very good in that shot smile

Not quite sure whether this guy is going to do time courtesy of this video... unless he was in Germany and not Holland!!! But it’s a great drivers perspective of the car (lots of chat - driving part from about 9 mins)

.

The video directly after is him in the 991.1RS on the autobahn for a sound comparison. You certainly notice the lack of the last 500 revs

Its a big difference. The GT3 sounds so much more aggressive at the top end!

There seems to be an issue affecting 991.2 gt3 (maybe not limited to) whereby the car erroneously registers that the airbag has deployed and contacts Vodafone vehicle tracking. Apparently Porsche are aware of the issue.
Yes, mine called the service centre (on its own accord) three times. They called me after the third time as I was stationary to check whether my airbags had deployed. First and second time I was moving so they didn’t call me.

Anyway, I asked them to turn all that stuff off. It seems to have killed the live traffic info as well.

Really difficult to get a true MB. Everyone says it's greener than they thought...

Here's another.

Miami looks more blue when outside in daylight and even more so in direct sunlight. But you notice more green when inside the dealership under the lights. At least - that's what my eyes do to the colour smile

I have been digging MB for a long time now. The problem with this colour is:
1. There is not a single picture on the Internet that represents this colour on a car correctly. Not even close.
2. It changes shade and tone upon different lighting conditions. It's a chameleon. I first saw this colour on a Turbo S under showroom light conditions and was totally amazed. Special colour not comparable to anything I have seen so far. Delicate, light tone. Just perfect.
Then saw 718 on a very bright day. Too light, too bright blue. Not sure if not too candy, girlish colour to me.
Today however I saw 911 parked on a cloudy day and was underwhelmed. The car was clear wrapped and maybe that was the reason. Very turquoise, dark dull colour. Not liked that at all and for sure not a colour for GT3 under that particular light conditions.

I really would like to have blue colour that fits GT3 but at the moment I am back at the start point.

If this was Miami I'd go for it too. However, I don't like the greenish tint to it in some light conditions.

There is a miami 718 in the parking lot at work, so I see one every day under different light conditions. It contains a lot more green hues then on pictures... I briefly considered it for my GT3, but i'm not the biggest fan. I must however, admit that it grew in me.

My manual car is set for delivery next week!

Our Miami Blue GT3 is currently at Topaz having paint correction, detailing and then total PPF coverage. The car looks fantastic as they very kindly send me stage photos. My problem is putting them on P.Heads as I'm not sure how. The colour looks fabulous in my opinion, so pleased that I chose it.

Sapphire with platinum wheels looks superb if you want blue.

You are right about Miami Blue it's only more blue in bright sunshine or under dealer showroom LED lights. In natural darker lighting conditions Miami Blue brings out a lot of green and the less light there is the darker the green undertone becomes. The wrapping has no effect on the colour.I think it could be one of those colours that will be hard sell on in the future without taking a price reduction unless you like the strong undertone of green.

Just watched this again. Interesting how he points out that although PDK is excellent, you're always searching for the rev limit which is so true.

I can't wait to see some manual reviews

Your arse or not does not alter the fact that MB does not pop in low light conditions but looks very drab having seen it again yesterday at Ragley Hall on a dull day confirms my view.

I think a lot of buyers could have ordered without seeing it in the flesh in dull light conditions hence your remark of most popular.

I thought it was great when l first viewed it in the show room but soon changed my mind having seen it in Germany and several locations in duller light. Just my opinion.

You'd be surprised what sells via an OPC. The most random colour and spec combinations find their way out of the showrooms time and time again. There are people with taste and there are people with interesting taste.

With regards to the new GT3, you could paint it in primer with Miami blue stitching and it'd sell... wink

That is exactly my conclusion. I think many people have ordered this color either blind just from P configuration website or visited dealer and saw the paint sample under favorable light.
Of course there are others that this feature of MB fits well and that is absolutely fine.
Me personally got tricked first time I saw it under LED lighting on a spanking gorgeous Turbo S.
