Not many Manuals :-(

I want what ever this colour is in Manual please, with the older Folding buckets.
That surprises me as I thought you were a massive fan of the 918 seats in your GT4?

Interesting pictures of how Graphite Blue changes depending on the light at the bottom pic Page 2 of this Boxster thread

Didn't realise it changed that much...

Interesting as I'd have thought the 918's were the go to bucket seat preference.

Also nobody has specced the launch colour Guards Red, GT Silver looking like it's the favourite. GT Silver is where I was leaning but my current 911 is Silver and I've never had a red car and as an 80's child a Guard's Red Porsche is quite iconic.

I think some like me find the older seats more comfortable! With the gt4/991rs they were the must have spec. as they were new, but did not suit everyone and there were many complaints of them being uncomfortable over long journeys!

If i get a guaranteed slot Guards red would still be in with a shout as is plain white,I'm still undecided on transmission and speccing clubsport or not.If i decide to go manual i would spec folding buckets and no clubsport for a road touring spec like the 911R.However i'm just as likely go for a track spec version with PDK,fixed buckets and clubsport ..My absolute definite choices are PCCBs,front lift, rear camera and the leather dash..

The folding are just a tad more usable for me and tighter fit at the bum end.

For me they offer more practicality and appear more robust. Both as comfortable as each other in my view.
Indeed. I am going to use the car as daily and folding buckets are great to access the rear space

For me a thin 6ft guy, I find folding buckets much more comfortable than the fixed. Long trips are no problem for me with the folding, but after 30 minutes my shoulders start aching in the fixed.

It does seems like a lot of people are going for the folding ones and with no CS spec that would make sense but then the 911R didn't have a cage and had only one option of buckets (I think).

The fixed buckets are fine for me as long as I add a little piece of 1 inch foam to the lumbar area behind the backrest centre cushion. It's kept in place with velcro so is easily removable and makes the world of difference to lower back lumbar comfort. Try it and thank me after!

I'm 5'10'' with broad shoulders and narrow hips and at 51 i can drive my GT4 with fixed 918 seats for 3hr solid with no aches and pains whatsoever and hop out at the end like a teenager. However i've always taken care of myself and i am still very agile..Just luck i suppose..!

If I was offered a slot (which now seems highly unlikely), I'd definitely stick with the folding buckets, but would spec Clubsport and ask for my OPC to remove the cage - I think this gives more options down the line.

I'm still undecided on transmission, but I'd definitely have PCCBs, front lift, rear camera and leather dash.

If my OPC will remove the cage that's what I'll be doing.

Thinking of having my 5 point harness removed prior to delivery, car won't ever see a track and it'll save sitting on it.

if its like the previous versions, the harnesses aren't fitted until delivery; just ask for them in the boxes. The supplying dealer should be quite happy to do this

Yes red looks ok and should be reasonably rare but imo the GT3 is a touch large for Guards and with the 'essential' red stitching and red calipers its all a bit, err, red.

Unfortunately and as expected it looks like there will be lots of GT silver cars.....the new white! White should be quite rare then and could be the new Voodoo!

Going 'manuel', steels, clubsport, white with red stitching, carbon, leather, smooth leather, chav stripe delete, Spyder buckets, alloy pedals, chrono, titanium wheels, lift, rain sensor anti dazzle etc. Likely March 18 car hopefully.

Are there two versions of Miami Blue?

I have seen a picture of a car mentioned as Miami Blue flat (non metallic)?? Is this different to the Miami Blue they are offering on the GT3 which seems metallic or certainly very bright!

No, just one. Non metallic. The green element comes and goes depending on each photo.

I searched on AT and found 6 Miami blue porsches for sale and each one looked a different colour!
