Looks amazing.

Are those Satin wheels or standard?

Have fun

Quick photo from earlier today before heading out for a 70 mile tour round the Surrey Hills in the sunshine! Manual box on mine and am up to 600 Miles now - creeping up the rev range a bit further. Just the most fantastic experience - totally engaging.

Your car look stunning and the standard wheels look a perfect contrast on the car.

Amazing. Mine will look exactly the same, without the wing!

Thank Martin - honestly I thought I might have messed up not ordering the Satin Alu wheels - to the point that after my order had locked I had asked OPC about getting the Satin Alu done after delivery (weirdly they quoted less then the configurator price but who knows if it would be the same quality!), but now I have it am absolutely delighted with the standard silver.

Must have been the day to get your GTSM GT3 Manual out in the south today. I did 70 miles in the South Downs this afternoon. Got 450 miles on it now. It goes back to a Topaz for its first wash and check over of the PPF tomorrow, and running in is going well. Only issue is the emergency alert going off for the airbag deployment that hasn’t actually happened. Hopefully that can get fixed soon. Loving the car, just want to be able to use the whole rev range!

Yes - kept the look classic and am very happy with it. Figured that if I get the urge to spice it up a little, a matt black “R” style side stripe and RS rear spoiler lettering should do the job! Thought I’d enjoy it in pure form for a while first... the nice part is... if I do go for the decals and then decide I prefer the classic look, they can always be removed!!

I've just seen the news of the launch of the Carrera T for 2018. Not sure if it's just for the USA market but sounds very interesting. Manual box, not sure if it's 6 or 7 speed, option of LWB seats and rear seat delete and a few choice options that aren't usually available on the Carrera range, including light weight glass. Is this a cheaper R without the engine? Pricing in the US looks to be around the same as the Carrera 2S, but that will be before all the choice options no doubt.

Very nice!

Just as a side, where do you take your car locally? Im in the same location and cant find many roads which arent ridiculously narrow other than A-roads which arent exactly that enjoyable!

Any link to the news? That's very interesting too. I recall a thread on this site where the idea of a driver focused base Carrera was discussed

Really like the idea of the T... exactly what I would want in a standard car.. buckets 4 seats, manual, not too much sound insulation ....

I’m discovering routes myself. Quite a bit of A road but some really nice ones and a few B roads. Broadly Cobham - Effingham - Ranmore - Dorking - Shalford round to Ockley (the run back in on A29 towards Ockley is an amazing stretch) - I then went over Leith Hill which was probably not a genius move on a Sunday unless you like playing bike dodgems! Sunday was roughly as per this map.

Andy, your address is shown in your post. You might want to amend that.

Didn’t see that there is an address in the post - it isn’t my address - it’s just a random spot in Cobham that I clicked on when doing the return route on the map. I will update anyway to prevent one of my Cobham neighbours being broken into for the GT3 they probably don’t own! Thank you!
