Thanks for this - interesting that they’ve made the clutch feel lighter than the GT4, I wonder what that says about the feedback they’ve had on the GT4 clutch ? smile
TBH I didn't find the GT4 particularly heavy , certainly not 997 GT3 heavy which was a bit trying for a daily . I would say GT3 isn't dramatically lighter than GT4 but just right . Certainly doesn't detract from the experience .

Agree the GT4 is fine but it can occasionally get a bit wearing as a daily - I find the 981 Spyder perfect, it’s only slightly lighter but this makes a difference; so this is great news for me ; the clutch in my new non existent car, that I don’t yet and may never have, should be cock on ! That’s handy smile

Good to know - because I like you and I wouldn’t like the recession to cause an issue, I’m willing to help you offload yours for £k91 if this helps - but I would need it now I’m afraid - thoughts .....

Tregaron was nice and peaceful when I drove through. Maybe the rain kept the locals in the Y Talbot.

Thanks for the heads up on the Abergwesyn road. Looks very interesting indeed so will have a go next time. Yesterday I took A482 then the left fork to Porthyrhyd and on to Llandovery.

If truth be told, 90% of the locals have been barred from the Talbot for various alcohol infused offences.
The bit of road you took after the left fork via Porthyrhyd feels like an A road in comparison to the Tregaron to Abergwesyn road.I mostly go straight on at the fork down to Llanwrda and take the A40 to Llandovery despite being longer.
The Abergwesyn road especially the first 5 miles is full of blind crests and blind bends.I would never take my GT3 there unless absolutely necessary.
Next time your in the area give me a tinkle and will meet up somewhere. My Racing yellow PDKS GT3 should be at my OPC in a couple of weeks..
Edit to add: The A4120 between Devil's Bridge and Aberystwyth is one of my favourite local roads if i feel like a late night blast without venturing too far afield.

Loads of roads Brecon way, up there last Sunday with a few, breakfast in Builth, then back in Cardiff for 10am. Magical.
Got to be up at crack though to miss the Caravans etc. Hope you enjoy the GT3.

There's a very nice GT Silver GT3 in Guildford showroom (assume for collection). Looks very nice and has no front number plate. Platinum wheels and comfort seats (which I'd love in the Touring model).

Collecting tomorrow morning. The black wheels look a lot better in real life than the picture suggests:
