Embargo for reviews of the 991.2 GT3 lifts at 00:00 Central European Time tomorrow, April 27th. Word from my cleaning lady is: "ha! It's awesome! Engine is unbelievable. The biggest change. Can't believe how angry it is. Chassis better ride, better turn-in. It's a bigger step than I expected. But it is quite hardcore - pretty noisy on the road with that racecar engine." Just over 24hrs to go guys.

Thanks for these links cool

Seeing these pictures has convinced me that Crayon is 100% NOT for me and Yellow is definitely back on as a possibly/definitely scratchchin

Agree. Not a colour that shines on your average cloudy UK day.

Engine to be expected looking at the write up on it and the dyno plot.
Chassis to be expected as it has helper springs etc My GT4 is like a carpet ride for a GT with 20" wheels
Better turn in well every 911 has had this issue and they just make that better every time and then they slag off the last one for under steer, it's a normal line for the GT3 review lol

The big thing for me though is the Manual Box and the reason I have one on order, as the 991 GT3 never had a look in being an Auto.
The engine will make the car with that manual box. And why my GT4 will be swapped for a manual GT3.

Yellow though, maybe, GT cars look great in yellow :-) and the GT4 has the GT3 in the looks dept. be sorry to see it go.

Conversely I really like it, although not on a GT3 perhaps. I'm fancying it on a Cayman or base 911 with Carrera Sport wheels and Crayon/Black leather. There's a nice retro look to it but it probably doesn't suit the more "full on" GT3.

I quite like that above shot of Crayon and I wasn't a fan to date. Could be a colour that looks good in some lights and not so good in others which I wouldn't want.

Those pictures of Mrs Piech's show beautifully why black wheels are (and will be viewed as a) low point in car design history....
Unless the whole car is murder'd....get alloys that are a tone or two lighter at the very least (IMO! wink )

Decent pic for an idea of what standard lights will look like in terms of the grey edging.
