Bought Autocar for the first time in about ten years on the way home to read the review...great review but less great journalism I thought.

If you refer to my ideal spec as noted in the list above you will find it is exactly as close to 991R as possible ie GT silver,buckets,manual,PCCBs and Clubsport delete which will be the lightest(therefore fastest),purest and will probably be what i go for when it comes to the crunch...

I've seen speculation about a "Touring model" on Rennlist without the rear wing and apparently with rear seats

Front certainly looks like a 991.2 front end could clearly be a photoshop or fake in some other way though.

I did spot yours, it's the only 911R speced one ;-) I'll prob join you in that sort of spec and save 50kg's over a bloated one.

Must say I'm incredibly excited. GT4 goes back to the dealer for sale tomorrow and am even considering Crayon...

Going to be one hell of a car..

It does seem strange why no manual from the start although looking from above pdk seems to be the most popular choice!
Just a thought while having my crunchy nut cornflakes this morning,if there is going to be some kind of "touring model" we could assume it would be manual only and therefore will be built alongside the manual GT3 hence the delay in production!
