The options i'm not sure on

Chrono - Never used on previous vehicles but feel like maybe i should have it?!
LED lights - Have these on my turbo and love them but not sure they worth the extra, can anyone comment on the Bi-Zenons?
Light design pack - worth it?
Painted side skirts - worth it?
Carbon interior trim - worth it?

Thank you

Looks good and similar to what mine maybe.

I've had PDLS before and they are great but have gone for LED as you can get black which I think will look better, but expensive..
Light design is just the extra lights to foot well, storage door release and the little horseshoe round the roof console..- personal taste-
Painted side skirts.. I wouldn't as they will easily stone chip and the break the black line which goes form splitter to rear diffuser..
Carbon - Personal taste I personally don't like it as the weave is smaller than the seat backs, that said other people will say it is a must!!

All in all looks a reasonable spec..

I have July Build. Sounds like most UK dealers have 1 July car each.

My pleasure. I'm struggling with the calipers but I've managed to photoshop a bird wearing red lipstick next to it if that helps.. smile

Looks like a nice spec...the one thing I am not sure about is Bose....all the reviews have said there is a fair amount of cabin noise because they have removed some sound deadening to keep the weight unchanged from 991.1. Just not sure you'd notice Bose that much and I don't think its that amazing anyway. Might be worth listening to it in an OPC demo in a normal 911....easy to turn Bose on and off via PCM.

The Bose in my old 991 GTS wasn't very good. The standard stereo in my new Cayenne is better and as you say, it'll be drowned out most of the time.

Just found this pic of a GR car on platinum wheels and PCCB's.
I wasn't going to go red as I had it on my first GT4 but this looks lovely.

As you know Dave that is an exact replica colour scheme as my GT4 which works very well and you never get bored of.I'm currently favouring the standard silver wheels as they show off the stunning wheel design best imho...In terms of exterior colour i'm starting to feel that the GT silver and white which were my clear favourites will become boring and that the new GT3 deserves a more vivid exciting colour. With this in mind and not wanting to go with the crowd i am seriously contemplating either yellow or sapphire blue with silver wheels.
I fully realise both these choices are controversial and will split opinions but imo suits our dull climate and both look fantastic on the GT3. Please feel free to comment and try not to be too insulting as i'm currently in the depths of going through a hyper sensitive mid-life crisis stage of my life...!

I loved my Sapphire GT4 and it does look great although I'd be Platinum wheels. Pretty much decided I'm going for Crayon as is is abit different but slightly restrained..

You trying to steal Phooey's job ?!?! It does look good...but you have to go PCCB to get the contrast in the calipers!

And on Taffy's dilemma I think Sapphire Blue looks great...and the silver wheels would work very well. I also agree about Silver and especially White....I think white's been done to death. My first inclination was to go for GT Silver but not so sure now....

On your spec question personally I would tick chrono, LED, light pack and carbon. I think carbon just looks right in the car and have LEDs on my Turbo S and 991RS, they are excellent on dark country roads. I'm not sure also but doesn't chrono come with the little track app? It isn't the last word in data logging but easy to use and a bit of fun.

+1, I was going GT Silver but not sure if to spec GR now, it does look good with the PCCB's confused

I think you now get the track app as standard the Chrono is just the wart thing on the dash... Don't know whether you need it for a sport plus type mode on PDK?

Text saying app standard..

"Comprising an analogue stopwatch on the dashboard, a digital stopwatch function in the instrument cluster and performance display in Porsche Communication Management (PCM).

The cabling preparation for lap trigger implements support for the lap trigger, available separately from Porsche Tequipment, for automated and highly precise lap timing control. The results can then be analysed and compared on your smartphone thanks to the Porsche Track Precision app offered as standard."

+1 for LED's they're fantastic...even if not as hi tech as the Audi Matric beam they're still superb. Once you've had them you never want to go back....

Nice spec - not too dissimilar to my 991.1 GT3.

My recommendation would be for yellow belts rather than grey.

I'd definitely go with carbon interior.
I'd definitely avoid painted side skirts (for the reasons outlined above).
Light design and BOSE are arguable either way.

That looks mega. It'd look good with satin aluminium wheels
