I have bought PCCBs purely to avoid brake dust and because someone on here told me I have to have them. You know who you are driving
I think that may have been me ? Sorry smile

Feel I've fired up a bit of a debate here..

From my perspective, having the opportunity to spec a GT3, I was never not going to spec the PCCBs. To me, they stop like no other brakes i've used (beating the sodding massive Ceramics on my R8 v10 Plus).

And most importantly, they look brilliant.

It’s a lovely colour in the metal - bright metallic in the sunshine , virtually black out of the light smile

I had a 964 Jubi in the same colour and personally I think it suits the older/smaller more rounded cars better.

I wouldn’t disagree - that sounds lovely - do you have any images ?

Also really liked Candy Apple Red on the old AC cars - in fact so many amazing colours on the old AC cars smile

Looks good on this 991 RS though smile

hi there

Had to cancel Bovey Castle till Monday but going Dartmoor anyway!!

yes new car is coming from Exeter as did my Gen 1 car only had it 9 months a chap called Richard owned it before hand from Newton Abbott, who got a car in the first allocation.

Have you got a gen2 car already? and from Exeter, if so did they fit the exhaust for you or did you get a 3rd party to do it, just interested on their feelings for them etc.

right time to warm her up driving
I also got my car from Exeter - in the first batch. Been a customer for many years and find them very good. Do you know how many cars they have allocated for the 2nd batch? Believe it was only 5 first time round.

I added a set of genuine 18” Fuch wheels and a replica RSR rear spoiler to the car for a year or so. Then returned it back to standard in 2016 as it was entered into the Porsche Club National Concours (which it won) smile

I hope not because I've just bought black harnesses for my car as the red wouldn't work at all. They are sodding expensive!
Hi Cheib

Any chance you can confirm which model of Schroth black harnesses you went for? I've gone for yellow stitching too, so binned the red harnesses and want to source black ones, preferably with yellow Schroth Logos.
Had a look in Demon Tweeks catalogue but there are lots of different options/types on offer, and my OPC sales rep doesnt really
have a clue!!
Also, appreciate if you can advise where purchased and how much paid? ( So, tell me everything really !!)

964 anniversary in viola : that was a dream car of mine when released,
Not sure how my 991.2 gt3 would look in that colour if it had been available!
I think it would suit the next rs though

Here you go

https://www.demon-tweeks.co.uk/motorsport/harnesse...

That's where I bought them from and that's how much I paid....there's also one with narrower shoulder strap which is for use with a HANS device. Oh and that price is per seat not for a pair yikes

There's a very helpful bloke I spoke to at Demon Tweeks who confirmed they're the right ones. He did tell me there is a new 2018 model coming out soon with a slightly updated buckle because of FIA regulations but I am not going racing anytime soon so I didn't wait.

OPC allows 5 hours to fit harnesses as part of PDI so well worth getting them done as part of PDI....

I can see why - it’s very lovely, I think modern Porsche colours are a bit crap TBH - there are some amazing colours in their back catalogue smile

I love a nice wide bodied 964 - I recently parted with this and really miss it frown

Interesting - more expensive than adding when you spec from new - I must abmit, I thought it would be the other way around .
