No rush. With additional RS allocations to come prices will only soften as there will be more trade ins.

Not really.

Gen 1 prices are up which will support gen 2 prices.

Gen 1 prices up only because Gen 2 wasn't available.

Let's see now....

And yes 2nd batch of RS allocation should bring more Gen 2 cars on the market.

I am sure prices will keep dropping till end of the year.
Did you say this when the GT4 came out also lol

3 years on they are the same price bar cars with miles and there are 600 GT4's, Infact the GT4's gone up a bit.

RS are £300k again and autocar have just voted the GT3 best hardcore drivers car, even above the best of the best and the 458s.

I am not talking prices up, it is what it is. nothing’s dropping bar maybe the 911 R and 991.1RS.

Although the huge anticipated premium on the gen 2 RS will lift gen 2 GT3 prices further.

After all, the gen 2 GT3 is the sweetspot. Especially the manual which as everyone knows is not available in the RS.

I do sense prices starting to soften actually this GT mania has not been going that long so every model is significantly more supply and as we saw with the R residuals are not immume to improvement if anything the cars are almost now being defined by their performance improvements more than ever before.

^^^ Agree: both GT4s AND 991.1 GT3s still selling well above list.... Even 3 years (GT4) and 5 years (Gen1GT3) down the line....

Sure— Gen2 GT3 prices will soften a little, as there has been a recent influx into the market.... But probably not by much tbh....

Side note— drove the manual Gen2 GT3 today.... Bloody Hell....!! What a motor....!! It really does do EVERYTHING very well.... However, did serve to highlight how fekin good the “baby” GT4 really is for the money.... Maybe others are now seeing that too, hence the sudden buying spree within the GT4 market....

I find this post very difficult to read..! Not because i find the content painful; more to do with the complete absence of commas...I'm out of breath.laugh

Rare in terms of overall units sold.

Clear that speculators and flippers are putting Manuals on sale to ask for bug money.

And people that really love the car and bought it to keep it, many been given only with PDK allocation (?), don't put it on the market.

There’s a lot of cars for sale so until most are sold I can only see them having to dropp a few £k. Touring’s are the most sought after and scarce so will probably be immune to a big drop. Manual GT3s haven’t been as well received as initially thought. It’s PDK or Touring atm.

All above from a reputable source.

Totally agree with the GT4 comment but the .1GT3 stock at the OPC’s just aren’t shifting. Not sure if that’s due to spec or the fact most are white!

Same with the .2 GT3 as over 10 at OPC’s and they don’t seem to be moving.

to add to my pic above - there's nothing in it in 2nd gear - I'd forgot how quick the 997.2 RS actually is. To be expected really - bhp/ton is pretty similar between both cars (330 vs 350). Straight line speed - It's all in the PDK. A manual 991.2 GT3 would struggle to shake a 997

Interesting you mention this - I noticed yesterday that a PDK 991.2 GTS is quicker than the 991.2 Manual GT3 - not that I care one bit, my cars super engaging and fast enough for me smile

As a recent 991.2GTS PDK owner and currently own a new GT3 i can vouch for that..Having said that as my GT3 passed 1K miles it seems to get quicker, and now on balance i think my GT3 is the faster car..The GTS is an amazing quick car point to point, and if you get one make sure it has the RAS which transforms it IMO..

Christ, how many for sale? Just looked for the first time in a while. Mid 170’s gets you a very well spec’d manual CS car too. Tonbridge?

Come on tourings, drop! I want one badly!
