Taffy66 now advises you to get a front plate. Pity that it takes a fine and no doubt gives a good excuse for traffic police to receive more funding, for idiots to be so precocious to remove one in the first place.
Time this chav practice is stopped for all our sakes.

This plate is an example of greater illegal chav practice imo and unfortunately an increasing depressingly common sight on our roads reflecting the vanity and fluck the law attitude of the 'look at me chavplaters' generation.

Plod should be pulling these miscreants although with DVLA clearly supporting such activity to line their coffers, such illegal butchering of numberplates by dyslexics hehewill inevitably continue

I await the day when GPS devices will automatically either restrict the top speed of every vehicle on the road to the speed limit or inform the police of any infringement. After all, the law’s the law.

However, maybe that’s a discussion for another time and place considering this is a GT3 thread.

1k mile and stretching to 6000rpm. Even though I obviously heard what 9k rpm sounds like in the PEC it sounds louder in my imagination!

Actually, there’s not much wrong with that plate. It’s a bit naff - everyone knows it’s a Porsche and, if in doubt, there’s enough badging just above it, although some people also resort to adding ‘PORSCHE’ stickers all over the car frown

The above reg is virtually legal and would be recognised by ANPR, so unlikely to be pulled over.

But agree, the issue, aside from deliberately not fitting a plate, is deforming a 5 to look like an S, or a B like an 8, or 6 like G etc, etc

Comfort spec manual..Odd spec and i imagine price will have to drop further to sell it..
It seems that Clubsport and PCCBs are essential if you want to sell at a decent price..Manual or PDKs makes absolutely no difference in asking prices..
I also notice that even the new RS are not commanding the silly overs some were forecasting..Yet they still seem to sell at circa £100k over..Some people seem to have more money than sense..
Disappointed to see that OPCs are still giving first dibs on the new RS to flippers, who never ever intended to buy them to drive...

new RS is selling cheaper than the old RS, they were at £275k at launch , the market tried £300k on the new one no one sold any !!!

yes I agree on the £169k JZM car, daft spec. but any GT3 sans buckets is stupid.
Always have been, they have had that mint 997 Gen II GT3 for over a year with chairs now !

Very few manual Clubsports for sale though, NOT a single red one on the market.

There is a stunning Carmine red manual Clubsport for sale at OPC Solihull..Only done 150m and a very high spec indeed..Asking price £178K and by my reckoning it cost £138K new which translates to £40K over..

Just noticed its got the old folding buckets which will make it unsaleable.biggrin

I don't think "Carmine red " is a seller in this model to GTS or a GT3 T colour. A bad GT colour.

Carmine Red and Folding Buckets = Worthless!

Carmine Red was in contention for me....but then I went with the proper Leper's choice of Lava Orange so what do i know.

And yet sports seats with pdk boxes get snapped up relatively quickly compared to everything else.
Big price drops across everything at the moment ,had emails with big drops on amg gtr,Ferrari 458 etc etc.

true Top555 have a AMG GTR with massive spec under list.
675LT have lost £135k in 12 months.

458 seem to have gone up if anything though.

With this Carmine car that takes Solihull's count of cars that they've had on the AUC site in the last month to 5....one Miami Blue, three White and now this Carmine Red one.

Fewer comfort gen 2s than gen 1s.

Overpriced Speciales have taken a hit along with in particular late Mclarens.

458 Italia and Spyders have increased in price as expected.

My gut feeling regarding the flipped first RS batch sellers just wanted a quick buck, hence the lowered price I’ve tthe last week or so, I’ll leave it here- what if there isn’t a second batch for the U.K.

Me for sure I’ll be using my RS as much a my time will allow, don’t give two hoots on making a quick 100k.

Having spoken with my guys I deal with at OPC they have already blacklists a couple of there 2RS and GT3 clients as they flipped
