Car looks ace! Congrats.
Those wheels don't look right to me. The offset on the back looks like they are for the narrow body cars.
Have a look at the rear wheel on this, Looks like it sits way further out in the arch to me?
I'll take a closer look when I get home later. They are the wheels spec'd from new. Those wheels don't look right to me. The offset on the back looks like they are for the narrow body cars.

Nothing a spacer won't fix. They are available from OPC in 17mm flavour as fitted to GT2.
[quote=nethers66]Just picked up this 996 C4S Cabriolet, 76k miles FDSH at the same dealer, 1 lady doctor owner, absolutely standard from new & well cared for, looking forward to some serious top down fun and road trips
Very nice choice. A black 996 C4S coupe was my first 911 back in 2002....I loved it..! I particularly like the painted centre console and centre air vents on yours. Although I'd be tempted to source an OEM set of either turbo style, or sport techno wheels. As other have noted, the offset looks wrong on the ones currently fitted...?

Never.
DELETED: Comment made by a member who's account has been deleted. That's a shame then, so basically the only time it is permissible to have the spoiler raised is when you are breaking the law, risking a points tally, and going that fast no one will see it. Most of 'em must be seized up by now then through lack of use
Nice car OP, hope you enjoy it

Not true.
It (spoiler) goes UP at 75mph, and stays up until the car dips below 37mph
So it is true.. unless maximum national speed limits have changed(although, yes, at 70 you will get passed by everything on a motorway !) So what I will have to do is drive to the M6, find a stretch without road workings and limited speed restriction, briefly break the law and then tootle off back to A roads and stay above 37..... Or do I just say bks to that and hit the switch hoping folks think it went up earlier at 75. (or I cooked the engine)It (spoiler) goes UP at 75mph, and stays up until the car dips below 37mph
