My 997 got rear ended :(

Hi All,
Just to update you - I received formal notification that the car has been declared a CAT C write off. Repairs are quoted at £31,532.47. Unfortunately, I have sustained chassis damage that reinforces my opinion that i was hit at 20-25mph.
I'm going to salvage the car and repair it when I have the money. Long story short, I've been unemployed for 9 months due to ill health in my family and have literally just started a new job, so there are positives!
Given the mileage...I dare say an engine rebuild is long over-due. Possibly a 4:0ltr conversion, with a nice Kline exhaust system
I will update this thread when I get round to it - it's not going to be soon but I will do it!
